what strain/s were the hash from and was it dry sift or ice water wash?

@chillbert yeah the sashquash is a big old thing, but like you say the Chinese ones do the job. This run is from some organic rainbow mintz dry sift on the skunksifters, everything by myself from soil to oil

What’s the benefit to pressing the likes of dry shift? is it a more refined product than the sift? Would have thought sifting (screen size dependant) would leave you with very little plant material as is.

A delicious strain there - how do u rate it for hash returns? did u measure / record input dry weight vs return ?
Am very keen on building a bank of top 'hash-making' plants ... so far i have found my mimosa along with some of the mephisto autos are giving me returns of 23-25% from pressed flower. Many other strains i've pressed come in around the 15% mark.
looking forward to pressing some hash (dry sift and fresh frozen) in the coming days/ weeks

@rufio I started pressing flower and trim when I 1st started, as time goes on you advance and try different techniques, the ultimate is fresh frozen hash rosin which is ice water bubble hash then pressed. Whatever size micron screen will determine how clean the kief is, I also use press bags which come in a variety of micron sizes. Press temps also make a big difference. Thanks dude
@chillbert hey buddy, yes the mimosa yeilds pretty well when pressed. I'm a bugger and don't really measure its when it's for myself 😜
Next time I will make a point and measure and keep a note. I have a few Oni seeds Co strains that are good for hash and rosin making.
