I’m a 65 year old medical cannabis patient (snicker,snicker). Been using since 19, but have only been growing for the last 20 years or so. I do a once yearly 5 gallon, individual bucket dwc using fem seeds. Usually have 10-12 buckets under 1k hds Currently I’m in week3 of veg will be flipping to 12/12 this weekend. The girls are 15”. This years grow includes gelato44, frosted cherry cookies and insaneinthemembrane. One Q- what are your thoughts on 24 hr darkness prior to flowering. Thanks all

Some people swear by it, some people don't lol. You know how growing is. There is some rumours that giving 24 hours of darkness before the flip, it speeds up the hormone production and makes the onset of flowers come quicker. I've never tried it myself.

Absolutely I can show you every possible mistake a grower can make. Last grow I learned that if you use advanced nutes connoisseur and don’t monitor your ph your prone to develop a nasty calcium and maybe mag deficiency, especially in early flower. It seems as though my reverse osmosis ph is lower than most so my final solution only had a ph of 5.0 so I had major lockout for several weeks which is never good in early flowering . So much for ph perfect technology
Nice! Yeah, pH is super important... affects basically everything so, definitely need to keep that in check. Here in SK, our water out of the tap is about 8.1pH so, I have to do some adjusting before I water as well. Integrated RO is definitely the way to go tho, if you can do it.
