Hi everyone,
I found the forum through the podcast and it seems like a friendly helpful place.
As I'm a budding blind percy grower I may have some slightly unusual questions, but I'm excited for the ideas and answers.
Growing with vision problems in a non-legal place may be tricky, but I'm sure we will find a way 
I'm in no rush so at this stage I'm learning and figuring out the best way forward for my situation.
Very much looking forward to embracing and acknowledging this part of myself and getting involved in the community.

@vapingdruid welcome to Percy’s mate. I’ve never tried to assist a grower with sight restrictions but if you ask the questions we’ll do our best to help you find a way. Have you ever cared for any kind of plant before or will this be starting from the very basics. Either way we will try our best.

I'm actually a medical herbalist in training, though growing plants has only been something I've tried in the last two or three years.
Due to close proximity of others and not always being able to tell when someone is watching out door growing is not going to be possible for me, so I will be asking some questions in the dedicated forums re equipment.
I will need to be able to set things up without sighted assistance, as this is my project and it's not something I can or want to get someone else involved with unfortunately.

@vapingdruid It wasnt on this forum mate lol. The forum im speaking of banned the guy because he had 12 plants when they have a ten plant limit. He was just looking for help and was banned unfairly IMO....but thats just the way it goes sometimes I suppose.

Hopefully we can add photos to our grow diaries.
If so then adding a photo every one or two days should enable people to spot any issues I've potentially not been able to notice.
Having eyes on things will be a huge help.

@vapingdruid That’s epic you will get plenty of help here. I suggest using low heat LED’s as safer option when growing apart from that you should do great! So much of gardening is by touch, light hanging height from the canopy, pot & leaf moisture & defoliation. I think where you might struggle is visual inspections for unwanted Pests, checking trichome development & plant deficiencies. That being said, I wish you the very best of luck with your grow.
