Hows it going, this is my first time growing, I jumped in at the deep end (blindfolded and upside down.haha) I dont know how but iv managed to get 2 plants growing, I was only wanting 1 plant but I thought none of my seeds were going to work but ended up with 2 sprouting.
One plant looks pretty healthy but the other one has a couple of yellow/brown leaves that look a bit rotten, iv looked at videos on youtube and thought it might be potassius deficiency, I put some epsom salts on it 2 days ago, just wondered if anyone could help me find out whats wrong. cheers

@stootie Hi man, welcome to Percys Can you tell us more about the grow? What you're feeding it and what kind of soil you have the plant in?
Also, can you take a pic under natural light? Its hard to tell the plant colour when its under purple

Hi & welcome to Percys
From that bottom picture and the location of the damage, I'm gonna guess at that heater being the culprit...plant too close ??
When you did the Epsom salts, did you move the plant around and was that bit originally next to the heater ?
@macky Cheers mate yea its just soil from a field im using, I think it was about the 15th of november the first seedling stuck its head up, the only light I had at the start was one of them small ones off amazon with 3 metal armes that you can twist about and I had them in a small cupboard in the bedroom, but now iv got 2 Roleadro 75w lights and moved it all into my shower room.haha Iv got a small fan in there too.
Iv been feeding them with Bio Grow a couple of times a week, about 2ml in 1ltr of water, I used rain water to start with, then started usind tap water ( I let it stand 24hrs before use) and Iv been using some Marphyl marine phytoplankton soil enhancer sometimes instead, I wait till the soil is dry before watering.
I transplanted them into those buckets, one on the 6th of jan and the other (the sick one) on the 12th. Iv had them under light for 18 hrs a day.
these pics arent very clear either, its maybe nothing too serious if it doesnt get worst.
Iv never checked the ph of any water yet but should have a ph tester home in a few days, iv done everything totally back to front, got the seeds growing then start panic buying things that I should had first.lol

@zn Thanks mate I had just watered it before I start looking online to see what might be wrong, I watched a video that had leaves that looked kinda the same yellow look as my plant had and they said it was potassium problems, so I got some epsom salts and sprinkled about a teaspoon of it round the plant, and sprayed only a small amount of water on it cos I didnt want to over water as I had just watered it about an hour before. I dont think its problems from the heater cos Iv been turning the buckets round every few hours and theres not really mega heat coming from the heater. The room temp is about 21 and moisture usually about 60ish.
A few weeks ago the edges of some of the leaves were a bit yellow, I thought it might be nutrient burns, it never really got any worse tho. Then I noticed that couple of leaves that look rotten.
My other plant is about the same distance from the heater and it seems to be doing ok.:)

@Stootie Good on ya!! Love that you've gone out an got on with it... The guys in here will give you all the advice you need to get a successful harvest. One thing I don't regret investing in was a tent set up... there are loads out great value ones which will take the stress out of everything. The money you'll save growing your own will add up and allow you to upgrade when you're ready. Good luck brother! Happy times
@dubblebluff Cheers Yea I thought if I dont plant the seeds I would likely be sitting here in 10 years time and still not done anything. iv been looking at tents but havnt bought one yet, It will be on my list of things to buy next tho. Im doing everything in reverse order but its better than no order at all... I hope. lol
