Hello everyone!
I'd heard of this site for years and until I listened to the podcast recently, I didn't realize there were forums. I've been on forums since the early days of the internet. My wife and I have been growing our own since February 2020. We show our pictures on Instagram as 420cannabiscouple on there.
We grow in an 8x4 and a 3x3, with the 4x2 being for drying or the occasional plant or two when not being used to dry. We started with autos and grew 15 or so of them before trying photoperiods. Our first autos were tall and fast growing so we were a little disappointed with the slow going of veg and flowering times. As we became attuned to training in veg and grew more patient, photoperiods became preferred. We took clones, they rooted and the love grew more. This recent run of super small runty autos has convinced us even more, photoperiods for life. Maybe a spare auto here or there.

@bubblehok I was more so being dramatic really. I'll probably always grow both. Love growing all plants. Just wish some autos would slow down with the flowering a bit. We've gotten a pound from an auto before (3 Bears OG by Mephisto).
@420cannabiscouple hahaha we are all a little dramatic when it comes to our plants lol I had a GSC auto go over the pound so that's why I mentioned not to give up on them.
I checked out your instagram and looks like you guys are enjoying the journey. Always good to be able to share with your partner and have them involved.
