Monkey, Macky, Phil, and mix all gave great advice. Buy the best light you can afford to start without having to take money from somewhere else or compromise another part of the grow. You can find kits online fairly cheap. Just got my step father a 2 x 4 x 6 kit....tent, light, fan, filter, soil, pots and more for 189$ it was a mars hydro light, not super big but it works! Not only do you have to worry about those people turning you in or wanting the plants back you could be transferring pests or disease as well.
