@im_sparky Hi Sparky, Welcome to Percys, good to have you here mate 🙂 I started my first grow last november in a small cupboard, best move I ever made, and joining Percys of course.lol 😉
Love it -- and glad to hear there are others out there who started as small as I am. I'm using a 2 1/2' x 2 1/2' closet with 2 5-gallon pots filled with organic supersoil charged with homemade biochar. I put an adjustable fan in the ceiling to exhaust to the attic. Been waiting on my seeds for 5 weeks with no word from the seller, and only an hour after I prepped my pots, my seeds arrived. Must be destiny! 😎

Your closet sounds like a mansion compared to my cupboard, it's only 18" by 24" 🤣 I had a 75w light off amazon for about £30, whats that $20 ish, and a 6" usb fan.
I had 2 plants in there in buckets that I bored a few holes in to make pots, filled them with soil from a field and started growing.haha But I ended up running short of room and had to move them into the shower 😆 You'll handle it no probs mate, It makes things soo much easier knowing theres people here to help you along the way too 😉

Although I bought from a reputable, major seed seller, they are apparently overwhelmed with increased demand and pandemic difficulties. Their site has even been updated so the contact links intentionally send you in a circle, and they stated they could not respond to demand due to dramatic increases. But, I did get the items ordered.
After ordering grow bags, I decided to return them and go with 5 gallon buckets with holes drilled as you did. I also got a good deal on a small broad spectrum LED with Samsung diodes, put space blankets on the wall and 6-inch computer-style fan in the ceiling. Here's hoping it's a successful setup. I am going to look into a grow diary.
