I often see sand as a soil ingredient and also see people reporting that cannabis grows well in volcanic soil.
I live in the desert near lava flows. Any thoughts on scooping up some sand from near the lava flows and including it in my soil?
You could get it tested, or plant a tomato seed or similar and see if it dies. If it doesn’t, that’s a good start.
Honor is simply the morality of superior men.
Volcanic sand is good for roots as it's porous and help roots breath and uptake nutrients it's added to many living soils... not sure the ratio but not too much is needed.... most pre-made living soils should have some in..... sure some people here will know more...
