hey all -
just started a new autoflower seedling. i think it’s doing well except that it may be getting too many nutrients too quickly?
it’s very green. and it’s cotyledons are more upward. i’ll attach a photo.

@drippyboi She look perfect mate:) Don't panic too much right now.... what soil is it? If it was too strong, usually it would have shocked the root already and the plant would not have got that far, so you might be in the clear now

@macky oh great! thanks so much that’s a relief. i’m using Great Lakes Water Only living soil. was going to make my own living soil blend, but the guy at the shop said he’s been using this for years and loves it. i guess it’s made local. he said should have enough but not too many nutrients for a seedling. but 🤷♂️haha i’m new🙃
@bubblehok awesome, thanks. yeah i’ve been a little concerned bc it looks so dark. it is a rich soil and just recently i’ve seen some growers layer their soil in a way where it’s less concentrated around the new taproot. kind of wishing i did that a little 😅
@drippyboi Yer i like to use a handful of coco, seems to do the job. But she is above ground and growing mate so its all good, just bear it in mind for next time
