Pushing my limits 60ml grow
Love the idia of this on the side will defoe be keeping an eye know I've see your doing it will be interesting for sure
@MonkeyDo very nice, love the watering system and setup. This is going to be epic man.
Stay safe brother
Not much to say today. She is adjusting to her new environment and isn’t happy with her confined space. The lower leaves are showing root stress but the crown is healthy. She is getting watered 4x daily right now.
She looks a mess but I was expecting this issue and am already seeing improvement believe it or not. The leaves in the crown are holding themselves properly in the light. Less nutrients more frequently seems to work. As soon as she stabilizes she’s going to be flipped.
Adjustment to environment continued and the upper leaves look much happier now even though the lower leaves look awful. The lowest leaves will no doubt be lost but overall the plant does not look terrible lol. She now receives 20 fertigations each day, 15ml each time, and she is appreciative of the increase. This plant really needs to be flipped to flowering but both tents are currently involved in veg and autoflower finishing. I might be able to get this flipped in about a week if the autos continue to ripen on schedule. The biggest positive right now is that she is alive and has a chance to give me the 2+ grams that are the target of this grow.
Thanks for stopping by, as always questions and comments are always welcome.
She lives and has started to stabilize
She isn’t a beauty queen but considering her environment I’m happy with her right now. It looks like she is happy with the new feed and the frequency too. Need to flip her real soon, just need to rearrange some and flip her tomorrow.
One more week, still alive and the lights have been flipped. Still having trouble getting enough feed into the bottle. This isn’t a surprise but it is a problem.
This should about double in size in the next few weeks 🤞
While I wait for Seedsman this girl has a tent all to herself. Seems a huge waste and empty tents stress me out.
Might be time to bust out the mug grow again.
On a micro grow this is hardly even a job lol. Still just trying to keep this girl going. It was near impossible to get water to the roots so I added a collar around the bottle neck that has helped a fair amount. The leaves have been improving.
Flowering has started so I only need to keep her alive another 10 weeks lmao. Still one tiny bottle alone in the tent. Next week some friends will be joining her if all goes to plan. Thanks for reading Percy Growers, questions and comments always welcome.
Really 9s cool ro see what they can do in a space like this one lol

Talking about being inventive in a tight situation. Great way to improvise and learn. Love your attitude mate, keep it up
Could you get a drip valve like the hospital ones and hook up to a 2 litre bottle, just let it drip feed 24/7
A wick system would work , feed may get manky in the light but its 60ml ,it works i did it for my veging plants last year ,for 3 days , while spending £150 on automated for my girls in flower for 3 days ,never used since 🤣
I’m concerned that a wick system wouldn’t provide enough flow to flush the media properly but unless this is tried we will never know. Mild brain fart and I’m wondering if there’s a way to come up with a wick based drip system. It works in my mind so that’s on the schedule to mock up something this afternoon. A few pitfalls come to mind, not going to be super simple.
Big thanks to @wolieback for jump starting my mind. The hybrid drip system turned out to be very simple and delivers a drop every 5 seconds with the res full. There was literally no modification to my system at all, just some inventive add on built very simply.
Just took some cotton butchers twine and braided several strands together to make the wick, put a small fishing weight on one end, saturated it and let it dangle. Gravity and capillary action do the work. The green bottle is part of my micro grow watering system so it drips one drop every 5-6 seconds into the bottle and straight to the plant. No moving parts, nothing to buy, looks totally homemade lol, requires manual refilling daily, and hopefully good for right now. By Sunday I should have some idea if it is helping or hurting. Somehow I think the wick will need cleaning or replacement periodically because of possible nutrient salt buildup from evaporation. As this is an experimental situation, time to learn 😉
The micro bottle is still alive but definitely not thriving. The change to a drip system helped but the wick kept getting fouled by the salts in the feed so the drip system has been reimagined and hopefully will last longer. Because the Peyote Kush seeds have arrived the micro has some Laughing Buddha plants joining her tent.
Color fade came early from all the root stress. Still tons of time left to go. Hopefully she can hold on a bit longer,
