In this photo you’ll see some brown Leaves in the center of the bud. I am not sure if this the start of bud rot . Its a outside grow and we have had some hot humid days here in California. Sorry about poor quality of photo but its the best i can do on IPhone
@philmebowls it looks like it could be but hard to tell from that pic ( not having a go just confirming its a bit tough to tell lol).
Easiest way to tell is to put on some gloves and try open up that bud a little, if it is rot those sugar leaves will pull off rather easy and you will see a whitish grey fluff inside the area you pulled the leaf from. Most buds are fairly dense when growing but you can still handle them and spread them open a touch to investigate further. Be extremely careful not to touch any other buds or parts of the plant while you are inspecting just incase it is rot. Good luck.
I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.
@bubblehok The plant (photo plant outdoor grow) was started in First week of April . We had a Couple days of a early heat wave around mid May .I believe that started it to flower early.
@philmebowls yeah that's a hard one, keep an eye on it just incase, the brown leaves that are pulling out easy you have to look in where they slid out from to see if there is rot on the inside of the bud. Bud rot eats from the inside out so you really need to try get a look inside that section as best you can. If your still unsure try get some closer pics of that section and post them up so we can have a better look 🙂

@philmebowls It looks OK i think, but give it 24 hours and see how it looks then. If its rot, you will know for sure in 24 hours But I think youre in the clear right now

@macky , I was looking at it again and I still see no white fuzz. And gave the whole plant a good Once over Im guessing it was a few older Sugar leaves that never made it out to sunlight . I just went in and pulled them out with Tweezers.
@philmebowls yeah the ole bud rot conversation gets you thinking twice and second guessing lol just keep an eye on it as macky said it should be fine. Generally if it was rot you would 100% know by now.
