hi boys and girls, I have high humidity the now, in the 90s most nights. I have a photo girl, 6 weeks in flower checked Trichomes mostly clear some milky definitely not ready for me yet. The problem I have is I have lost 2 coalas already because of this , so have stoped putting the lights out(because the humidity goes to high) will it be ok like that until it finishes or will it totally destroy all the good stuff, if I leave the lights on 24 hrs a day? This is my first ever photo and indoor grow with lights. Autos outside only for just over a year, and much easier to grow for me. ?
what are the temps in your area fish, and i was having issuse i turned the extractor fan up about 20% and that fixed my problem but my outside temt temps are between -2 to 8 deg cel and tent temps are 20-24 deg cel, a dehumidifier might be your best option, place it in the tent and have the run off hose in a bucket sealed with a black bag over bucket, this should sort it out for you. but id say others here would have a better understanding of tent control then i would im a newbie like yourself fish.
24 hr light on the photo plant is not good, My humidity isnt ever real high but I can bring it down some by running my extraction fan higher to increase air flow,and my intake is from a duct tube in front of a window AC unit, is it possible to use intake ducting to draw air from someplace dryer? or use a dehumidifier? You could also try adding a heater to run while lights are off. If you add a heater use one that doesnt add light like an oil radiant heater or maybe use it outside the tent where you draw air in.

thats what i had to do twisted, ceramic heater and up the extraction fan, fixed it straight away.
@irish-johnny I dont have high humidity issues often my issues are more low humidity, most often when my RH rises is after feeding, I feed shortly after lights on so its usually lowered by time lights go off. I know some like to feed before lights out.

my humidity seems to stay around the 30-40% mark, theres never any condensation anymore, not since i turned up the extraction, the humidity levels outside are always high its 67% now but later it will rise to 93% so lots of black ice tomorrow, yipee lol
@irish-johnny mine run from 27% to 35% I keep water bowls in my tent to help some times i wet up old rags and lay in there. But its winter hear now and humidity is low, in the summer time Missouri gets real humid so i use a window unit to help keep it down to 35 -45% my veg tent will get higher rh up to 55% the intake on it comes from outside my grow room where the AC doesnt do a great job.

i dont really even bother checking it anymore, once ts not raining when i open the tent im happy lol
Yeah as said 24 hour light on a photo will start her revegging and you dont want that...more heat, more extract, less humidity...

It worked ?thanks a lot????so I have removed all the Mold and pulled the branches down with some l S t , hopefully it lets the air in a bit. Will order a better dehumidifier tonight. I am in Portugal any suggestions on a good dehumidifier, not for the tent, I want it in the room. How many litres do u think?sorry for so many questions. Again thanks everyone for the help?

hope she works out well for you buddy, and an ideal is a fine dehumidifier, i had some in my villa in Alicante quite similar weather to Portugal. Shame its gone now, its legal in that neck of the woods.
@irish-johnny thanks buddy?Same to u, if it all goes tits up I have 2 autos to cover me. Think this will be my 1 st and last photo, they take to long and at this time of year the humidity is sky high, I am always going to lose some to Mold I think.Spain is right next door, but not legal here yet ☹️
@irish-johnny forgot to say johnny u can have up two 20 grams of cannabis in your pocket, and there is no criminal conviction or anything. U go for drug council instead ?so it’s decriminalised which I think is better than making people going through the courts, for smoking weed?
im not 100% what way the law is in Spain is. It differs in each place as far as I know. I have autos myself and they seam to be coming on ok there getting very tall
I hope they decriminalise it here, we have a chance at a new breed of government here tomorrow,with the elections and the will legalise it. Well hopefully the main 2 party’s are an old rich mans club. Sf are a working manga party and might actually finally form a government ?? First time in over 100 years if they win

what do you think of the light fish, I wouldn’t be a huge fan of it in the 5x5 it’s far to small for it , I was gona bang it into the 2x2 when I get it and get an ish for the big one, how many girls did you have under it? I have 6 but may as well only have 4 the 2 outsiders are very skinny and maybe 5 flowers total
@irish-johnny I have a 3x3 tent, fore plants 2 autos 2 photos. The plan was to get to certain stages then flip them outside or inside depending on the weather. Because of back and left leg they have all stayed there and to be fair done ok, but 2 of the phlizon or whatever they are called would be perfect for me, 4 plants.Do u ever move they around in tent for better light, I do it because I take them out to water them and it helps I think?
