@improper_weed_viking I’d class that as rave music more than disco. Disco is all about that driving and always present drum and bass track from beginning to end. Think YMCA and you will get there. The song you dropped wasn’t half bad, just not disco.

@denizen I had heard Open Up before and I thought it was shit hot but really the only reason I bought the album was because I had just bought a sky dish and online shopping had just started where you could buy things using the remote control, I had also just bought a hifi with mini disk, and Leftism was for sale on sky and it was on mini disk so I bought it just because I wanted to buy something using a remote 🤣 I used to hate rap and dance music but that album gave me a good slap and told me not to be so silly, it was a gateway album to a lot of harder stuff.lol

@stootie Ahhhh Minidisks! Now you're taking me back. Yeah I think Leftfield and Chemical Bros opened a lot of us up to new stuff. I was a Metal/Industrial guy and ended up as a full fledged DnB Dj by the end of the 90's. Good times.
