2nd grow - 1 1/2 times the biomass in a 1/3 of the time!

@marswormcastings Sweet grow, looking good! Do you have a soil recipe you can share with us?

Not really, just a general guesstimation. 

The biggest one (which needed more Calcium before transplant ) Pauls Purple Peyote

- 50% (or close to it) Vermiculite 

- 8-15% outdoor soil, clay, and leaf compost (no testing)

- 35-42% peat moss

- Dr. Earth 4-6-3 (mixed in)

The other plants are in my first living soil recipe which seems to be lacking in Lime, some pots in my garden are growing algae instead of seeds or productive plants! 

But most of them do just fine.

When I mix soil I try to use Dr. Bugbees recipe of 

50% peat, 50% Perlite or vermiculite.

Potting Soil Mixtures are very hard for me, and I've been gardening and researching for 2 years now. 

I have tried using dried leaves for drainage and my clay/leaf compost soil but I’m pretty sure after a year they just started to break down, leaving my Philodendron susceptible to root rot. In this case I also used a large kitchen trashcan.

What kind of lights do you have under those hoods? Do you have any fans going? Like a circulating fan in your closet? You want some air movement in there..... nice looking plants!  

Those are just supplementary lights. Regular 2700K Led Light bulbs. 

I was using a custom light with 10 of those bulbs before a couple months ago.

There’s a circulating fan outside the closet, with the doors halfway open. 

I switched to a Shengsite which caused this explosive growth. Then I added more space and got a SP1000D.

Doing great so far, i see a lot more growth deeper in the canopy.
