@turbotitch

I’ve noticed the fan is now blowing directly at the plant is this ok?

would be best if you can use a fan speed controller as this will reduce the fan speed in turn increasing the temputer and reducing the damage to the plant( wind burn) I have the same problem and I need to do something with my fans (4" pc fans about 4"-6" away from the plants)

@jacks_farm thanks for the advice mate. I’ve ordered a fan speed controller to see if that helps. How will I know if it’s getting wind burn?

Your welcome mate,

It will cause the plant stress and often causes the leaves to claw.

As the plant grows and you should remove the lower canopy 4"-6" between the dirt and lower canopy ( good airflow to keep humidity low and this will reduce mold and bugs and make it easier to water the plant )

at this stage you could put the fan back on full and the plant will love the extra air flow, with your design and a full canopy the leaves will get loads of co2 as you force a gentle airflow through all the canopy. Thumbs Up

Hi all so a long overdue update.

I’m at the end of week4/start of week5 and I THINK things are going ok, I’ve carried out some low stress training which went ok and the plant seems to have adapted pretty well even if I did snap a stem but I propped it back into place and it’s been fine.

Ive also put a carbon filter on it (5inch rhino) and all seems ok.

i need to put a door on it now as it’s becoming difficult to lift the bin over the plant to water it and I’ve noticed the roots are starting to come out of the bottom of the pot, is this a problem? I have been advised that auto don’t like to be moved so I was going to leave it in this pot until the end.

On the whole I think things are going ok for my first ever grow and most of all I’m enjoying the experience and already planning my next grow. Thanks for reading

Problem is with autos, they have a limited lifespan and anything like a major transplant now could stunt growth...however if its in a small pot that in itself could restrict growth...how big is current pot ?

Still in veg, its doable being real careful not to disturb roots but I wouldnt recommend it, I use 11ltr pots mostly and they're fine...roots leak from the bottom of those too...

Bunch of lightweights the lot of you, I killed off about 11 grams in the time the show was on...

Cant believe I outsmoked Tommy Chong, lmfao
