worth checking out the migro channel on utube where you can see many led lights tested and reviewed honestly. They recently did a best light for a 4x4 space review.

HLG as macky said are top of the range.. there are now many very good quality leds lights to fit a range of budgets

i would avoid buying the cheapest for sure. better to get something from a good brand with good customer service. I have used migro over a year and they are very good. I would certainly be very happy with an HLG too!

Hey welcome to Percy's @pedro. Your light is a key ingredient and it has to fit in with the rest of puzzle.

So how big of an area are you going to work with? 

Most import next is, What is your budget?

That a good starting point. Find lights that fit that and then we'll help you narrow down your search. Take your time, this is an investment. But you can up grade to later.  

Welcome to Percy’s @Pedro and congrats on taking the plunge and opting to grow your own. I personally use the Lumatek Zeus 600w pro and have a HLG Blackwing on the way, courtesy of a comp on this very site, both of these brands are fairly expensive and top of the range but I’m of the thought process of, it’s better to be looking at it than looking for it, I’d recommend spending as much as your budget allows on a light as this is the main component of your grow, the mid range lights are probably just as good as the top of the line models in terms of yields and growth speed but lack efficiency, Chilbert is also right, Shane over on the MIGRO YouTube channel has a wealth of knowledge there, tailor made for people like you in this situation, anyway hope the above helps and happy growing👍🏻🪴💚

@pedro Hi Pedro, welcome to Percys, good to have you with us 🙂 Im pretty new to growing myself,  Iv got a Migro Aray

I started growing using a small shitty light and got about 22 grams off my first plants, I got my Aray for my 2nd grow and I got round about 130-150 grams off each plant, I cant remember the exact weight right now but Im very happy with my light 🙂 👍 

@pedro not sure how to change the font size to make small words... Welcome to Percys, there is lots of information in the grow guides so that's the best place to start or if you like wing-it and see what grows
