hey everyone! i've already asked a number of question's to a few members here.& thnk you ! here's some background on my grow 1st of all this is my 2nd grow I've done & completely on my own.I have a mars hydra tsw 2000 light setup vivasun tent I think it's about 4 ft. square & about 8 or 9 ft. tall ( sorry I can't remember or maybe it's due to me partaking of some "WEDDING CAKE " I have 1 tangerine dream Auto ( would of had 2 more of those seeds & 3 critical purple & 3 bubble gum) but they died after I put them into the coconut coir seed starter pod's /pellets thingy's .,so I have 1 left I'll oad her pic.it was planted in her forever pot on the 1st or 2nd of april & BTW I'm using Coast of Maine / Stonington blend . ( super soil ) so I'll probably ask a lot of stupid question's bear w/ me .
BTW she has another set of leaves in addition to what's already showing ( I took this pic tues.) for a total of 3 set's of leaves in addition to her cotyledon one's.
Welcome to Percy’s bro, nice little set up the very best of luck with them. :gb: 🤙🏻
thnx my husband set it up for me . I'm very nervous though , I haven't grown Auto's before. I did 3 other grpw's but I had somebody that came over & helped quite a bit w/ each of those & this is my 1 st attempt at it by myself & w/ AUTO's & as I see, the seeds seem to be a bit sensitive the 1st 3 or 4 week's I've been told. butI had originally germ. 9 seeds n I put them in coconut coir pellet/ pod's instead of a solo cup n soil .so this girl I have now is from those 9 seeds all the other ones died after they were put in the coir thing's but I'm being extra careful w/ her n we'll see I'm sure I'll be quite the pest w/ question's .thnx for the welcome.
hey everyone! i wanted to post a couple of pics of my tangerine dream Auto flower. I planted her ( in her forever pot, fabric) on 4/1/22 or maybe the 2nd .this pic. is from yesterday 4 removed link wondering if the curl in the leaf is normal? & the color in the leaves there seems to be a bit of yellow on a couple of leaves ? I'm haveing a humidity issue (it's way low) ordered a humidifier for that. any tip's any advice is welcome
Definitely not normal. She is having trouble with either too much nutrients or a bad ph. My guess, and it’s only a guess, is the media is too rich for the young plants. Lots of supersoil growers put a handful or two of seed starting mix or coco without much nutrients in the middle to start the seed. It gives it a bit of a buffer for the roots to adjust to the rich soil.
Wow, now i'm super anxious ugh ! So, After the seeds popped n the seed germinated n grew a 3/4 inch taproot,I then planted/put it into its forever fabric 5 gal. pot . I didn't put it right into the super soil though I actually broke up one of the coconut coir pod things n put it in the hole that I was going to put the very young seedling into n then I watered around it, not on top n misted her too w/ 6 & 6.5 ph water that's been sitting in a container we have outside .temp is at 82 / 83 degree's humidity is really low as I mentioned in my previous post but I'm getting a humidifier. Thought's ?
also i wasn't sure if the curl on the one leaf was due to not being straightened out yet from growing out ? also when I do get more seeds ( I've already spent approx. 150.00$ on the seeds that died ) what is everyone's suggestion for me after my seeds germ. and I'm ready to plant em in their forever pots, Cause I'm NOT using those coconut coir seed starter pod/pellet thing's anymore I've thrown 150$ away on that route already. I really want to use the Coast of Maine /Stonington blend soil. for the medium though but to shield them from a " hot soil" what should I do ?? thnx guy's
If this were me, I’d start the seeds in solo cups with something like seed starter mix. It has very low nutrient rate and won’t burn the seedlings. Once established I’d put them into the supersoil and let her rip. If that scares you then fill your pots with the coast of Maine soil, then take 2-3 good handfuls out of the center and replace with plain coco or seed starting mix. Plant the seeds in the low nutrient media so the roots can establish and you should be golden. The roots will grow into the rich soil when they are ready for it.
Those would be fine. They both seem to be low nutrient mix and should fix the problem.
It’s probably shipped a lot drier than needed to grow in because it’s cheaper to ship like that. It also helps active the organic organisms in the mix. It will probably make sense when you see it.
Hey @pc420 I found you here finally. Let's relocate you and your questions here in one spot. Connections seem to be working better today, fingers crossed. I lost 3 or more large responses yesterday after hitting send, 😫. Aggravating to say the least.
So you should be able to find this post under Auto's grows, but if not just type in your user name in the search box at the right hand top of the main page and that with show you- you. lol
Or if you want to start your own Official Diary, with your heading and all that jazz, your certainly can.
I have a day in front of me that I don't even want, but I'll be back around this afternoon. peace
So you should be able to find this post under Auto's grows
Sounds like a great idea. Let's just move this thread to the Autoflower Diary section since that's essentially what it is and will become. That way all the questions can go into one place.
@pc420, here's a link to the diary location so it will be easier to find. new grower – Autoflowering Diaries – Percys Grow Room: Cannabis Growers Forum
I can edit the title and add any information you want to the beginning, just message me and it will be done.
@pc420, so yes I use Seedsman and yes you check in with your country (where you live) and pay with a secure credit card. I'm in the US and haven't had a problem with them as far as shipping. Now navigating their site wasn't easy for me at first cuz I've never ordered seeds before and sure as hell don't know how to do anything on a website. So at Seedsman they have all the different breeders in one place. You can look at whichever seed company you want, they carry a lot.
Ali-Bongo is available here at Percy's and I just received some of their seeds but haven't try them yet. They are highly recommended around here and tried and true. Their strains look very tasty too.
fyi, a PM is a "personal message", if you didn't receive it, it got lost yesterday or I screwed that up too! lmao it's a bumpy road at the moment. LOL!! 👍
but every time @macky goes on & on & on about lemon tree, my mouse finger gets twitchy
Oh mate, if you listen to Macky rave about his weed you’ll never stop buying seeds lol. I’ve heard the best ever is Blue Cheese, CBD Cream and Cheese, Super Lemon Haze, Auto Colorado Cookies, and of course the current Lemon Tree. There’s more than a few I missed too and the seed breeders are missing an opportunity to sponsor HOHG. We can make you interested buying in a strain or two.
