Hi everyone, just signed up and wanted to make myself known.
I have been growing for 25 years now in all mediums, and have stuck with Quantum Hydro system which i first used in the early 2000's.
I would love to know if anyone else on here uses the same system.
Am looking forward to getting to know you all.

@macky hi and thanks for the welcome, i will take some pics when my new seedlings are in veg state Kripple Roulette and Grandaddy Bruce. The Quantum Hydro system was an interesting hydro concept, i knew the company owner and he best described it as a twist on the hanging gardens of babylon theory. And have always had great results 😊, i have added a pic so you get an idea of what it looks like.
@woodi2 Hi, i have attached a photo, its basically a recirculating system, they offered a single planter version, 8 and 10 planter versions, i have both single and 8 planters, but never load the 8 planter with 8 plants, i usually have 2 plants at opposite ends of the planter, there is a small aquarium heater, a small microjet aquarium pump on 24/7
and that is it.

@lazerblue, yeah right on. So it's not the commercial ones with the 4" tubes. So is it still a perpetual grow like the larger units or am I confused?? 🤣 I like to make water dizzy so I have a two site RDWC. Mine has some of the same bells and whistles and far as spray and water movement. Your looks sort of like a flood table, I'm not the most experienced in all the different systems out there. What size harvest are you able to produce pre plant? Looking forward to seeing it in action. Good luck.
@woodi2 Nope its a tiny tank compared to the 4ft ones, the rockwool cubes are fed by the centre water manifold, this water then runs down the roots and back into the sump of the planter.
I usually get about 5/6 oz per plant depending on what strain. Also i noted that on this system plants finish a week earlier (no idea why)
