Hi team ,I'm a new grower from nz and all I have to work with is random seeds found out and about. After two attempts I have only come up with males ( this is out of 10 seeds ) is it possible I have the temp to high earlier on In the vege or is it just luck of the draw .any advice on how to get good genetics would be appreciated thanks guys
@nails Hi Nails welcome to Percys mate. Im pretty new myself but I think it's pretty much luck of the draw when it comes to that, I planted my first reg seed a couple of weeks ago, well 2 seeds, one didn't sprout and im still waiting to see if the ladys going to have bolls or not.lol
But apart from those two iv only grown fem seeds so far. Some of the other lads will likely be along soon and will be able to give you a bit more info on it 🙂

Its the luck of the draw when you use regs, 50% chance of being male, or female. It's best to just use feminised seeds

@nails Its luck of the draw with regs. conditions wont affect whether its female or male the chromosomes are already decided in the seed no way to change that.

Welcome to Percy's! Sorry to hear about your troubles. Let me offer this in the spirit of helping: Getting 10 males out of 10 seeds is *really* against the odds, so I have to ask, are you certain they are all males? You may be right, but perhaps this is a mistake that could save you a lot of work and time if you were incorrect. You could post some clear pics to get other people's input here and confirm/deny your conclusion. Regardless, as others have said, feminized seeds are the way to go with the odds of getting a male being slim to none. Bonne chance, mon ami!

Maybe your just getting all the males out of your grow system now and you'll never have another one, sort of all at one time thingy!! 🤣 That would be nice ay! Yer im skeptical of this, ad wonder how easy it is for a home grower to do so i didn't bring it up. Its best just to go with the fems seeds
