Sick Plant This is cal/mag right?
Feed a+b at 1.25ml per 1.5ltr.
0. 2 root stim
Running shogun coco nutes so I assumed there would be enough calmag, plus I soaked the pot in calmag rich water.
Symptoms are on all 3 plants and Appeard over night
Have given calmag foliar spray at 7.5ml per ltr.
Also have feed her just now with a calmag rich feed at 0.5ml
First time using coco
If you're running coco you need to keep cal/mag in you feed all the time. I use .5ml/liter in veg and bump that to .75ml/l in mid flower. There is some cal/mag in the base nutrients but additional is usually needed. When you add the cal/mag it wont make the spots go away but should prevent new ones showing up. The old damage will just harden off and stop getting worse. Your damage isn't very bad so she should recover fine. Keep the ph around 5.8 and the added cal/mag should sort out the issue.
Yeah I concur with monkey, I would say as an addition that I only feed nutrients at a super light 1/8 - 1/4 dose for the first few weeks but I also prebuffer my coco to prevent the coco leeching nutrients from the feed. You caught it super early so they will be fine, they look super healthy and happy apart from the slight calmag tantrum though good work.
I’d agree with what the two boys already said, I’d also note that it could be burn from your foliar spray, try spraying the underside of the leaves instead and if you are going to spray the topside try and do it just before lights out, other that that the plants look pretty happy, keep up the good work👍🏻🌱
All good advice above, did think your cal mag was low at 0.1 ml per litre, if that's what you meant?
I've used shogun very good nutes, in coco you need more cal mag than usual upto 1.5x the dose but that will up your ec so try to keep as low as possible whilst watching for deficiency etc.
With leds you need more 'cal-mag' its actually 25ppm (on 500 scale)of magnesium your feed would need added, to bring mag to correct levels but there is also a need for more calcium as the plants grow more under leds. So up your cal mag overall but also add dissolved epsom salts to res after you mixed in your cal mag, until it reads just 25-30ppm more.
If your confident in your coco buffering process then you could feed 0.1 to 0.5 ml cal mag.
But with leds and coco its recommended to use a full dose 1ml per ltr, or up to 1.2-1.5 ml.
Also if your environment is not in check temps/humidity you will see nutrient deficiency due to uptake issues associated with poor uptake by the plants, environment drives transpiration which then drives water and nutrient uptake.
A quick flush through with the correct nutrient ratios could help 👍
It was definitely calmag.
I noticed one of the girls lowers were dropping and twisted a little too so I thought must be calmag but I've been wrong before.
Coco is very different to what I'm used to but then I see it as lessons learnt.
Appreciate the advice and knowledge lads, all taken on board.
