Good morning all!  I am looking for some tips on exactly when and what types of fertilizers (brands?) you have used in order to enhance your bud and flavour?  As a first time grower (growing in a tent) we have two strains, a purple indica and Tangerine sativa. The sativa particularly "promises" to have all these sweet and spicy notes (sounds like a fine wine??)!  Anyway, here's my experience--living in the Northern, U.S.--a good friend's homegrown has had the BEST flavour (grown outdoors for several generations). My hubby and have bought several diverse flowers to try from three different dispensaries and the flavour does not compare! We are hoping for something better from our own. We know they need the phosphorus.

Ima coco grower so everything has to be added unlike a soil grow. Two products that I use that MIGHT help with terpenes and flavor but I’ve done very little research to prove this. I use “Diamond Nectar” from General Hydroponics (Humic Acid)throughout the grow. This is a chelating agent that makes nutrients more available to the plants without raising the EC very much. The other thing is “Overdrive” by Advanced Nutrients. I switch to this at the end of the bloom for about 2-3 weeks before the chop. It’s advertised to bulk up the buds and increase terpenes and resin production.

I can’t prove these products do anything, I have little scientific data, but I know when you walk into a room where my weed is being smoked and you definitely will smell the difference. The smoke is very strong smelling and super dank. A couple of puffs and the whole house reeks 🤣🤣😂😵‍💫

@greenlady I use "Rezin" by Green planet, I have mixed and muddled different lines to get to a combo that works for me. I use Cannacoco A+B as my base nutrient, seasol(seaweed extract for veg) nitrosol (only in the first few weeks of veg) then continue with A+B and replace the seasol and nitrosol with Green Planet "Rezin" "Massive Bloom" and "Pk Spike" until end of harvest ( pk spike is only in there for a few weeks not all the way through flower). I can tell you now the flavor profile of what I have running atm and the smell of the ladies is by far the best I have managed to get with other standard lines, which is half the reason i wanted to mix and match. Green planet has no synthetic pgr and uses a fermentation process for their nutrients. The "Massive Bloom" smells like a mix of fermented honey and malt, and the Rezin is full of ascorbic, citric, gluconic and lactic acid(nice and sweet smell in the bottle)  and wont mess with your ppm, it does mess with your ph a little bit but not enough to cause alarm and i balance all my levels after I add my nutrients to my water anyway. I am running coco, which is why i have to give it everything it needs but that level of control suits me better, but the green planet line can be used in almost all mediums including hydro and soil. Hope that helps, and I'm sure other guys on here have their own methods and nutrient tricks as well, your almost spoilt for choice these days lol

I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.
