Does anyone in here mist their plants in veg or give them a foliage feed? And if yes what do they recommend and when to start?

I only folia feed if I see a deficiency coming. And only ever before flowers form.

Some nutrient ranges do have folia feeds in their line. Foliar feeding will deliver the nutrients directly to the cells in the plant, so its a quick way to feed the plant some nutrients if they are needed.

I actually folia feed once, maybe twice in my whole grow, and thats with some epsom salts, to add more magnesium to the plant, to prevent cal mag problems in flower ( as I expect that to happen). Works fine for me.

What are you thinking of doing mate? Want to try some folia feeding yourself?

Well it can’t hurt right? To be honest I’m struggling with RH and don’t want the leaves to become dry or damaged by mould. I’m thinking a regular feed or mist to the leaves my add some protection. And if I can add a little nutrition aswell  bonus right?✌️

Lowest is 34 high around 60but when I do a manual check it’s normally between 45-57. It’s been up to 99 though because of that stupid puremate humidifier ??

Its fine at those levels mate. Just roll with it as it is. 45- 60 is fine, 34 is low, but it shouldn't get there often right? Where is your humidity sensor kept in the grow room?

Yes mate, I use about a third of a teaspoon, and dissolve it into a litre of warm water, then let it cool to room temperature.

I would the spray the whole plant, just before I expect flowers to form. Then they're fine for the rest of the grow. If you don't have full flowers forming, hit them with some epsom salts, only folia feed them though, don't put them into the medium.

Oh, and dont do it under the lights mate, take them out of the grow room. The light can burn the plants through the droplets, and if you get splash on the light, you might break it. Take them out of the grow room, spry them and leave them to dry for a bit before going back in.

I foliar spray my girls (early mornings) in veg with a mix of canna rhizotonic, multimite kelp extract and tap water with a spoonful of aloe vera juice (from the heath food shop).
the rhizotonic is good for their general prosperity & root development the seaweed and aloe Vera prevent and relieve stress whilst also giving a boost from the growth hormones and minerals in the seaweed.
Vegging up is soooo important, if you are only vegging for 3 or 4 weeks you can double your yield by doubling your veg time.
Peace out
