@lovetoflyfish not disqualified mate, just was asked by a member to give new growers a chance. Not a problem but I will be back in the future 😉

I honestly don’t see the problem with you entering these comps bro @monkeydo, the winner is picked by members not admin and mods. If they prefer your plant over others that’s there prerogative, I have lost to you many many times but I is not bitter, I just try mimic your style and try beat the master 😂 how else will one ever better themselves if they get complacent in there growing technique.

Red Eye Jedi's August POTM Entry
So below is my entry for August's plant of the month.
' Probably not the prettiest plant you will ever see entered but as this was my 1st ever grow, im super proud of how its turned out. This is my Super Critical grown in Soil using GHE Trio Pack and Cal-Mag.'

@monkeydo I disagree, man, you should not have to stay out of the comps..everyone plays by the rules on Percy's and new growers get as much chance as Veterans....
@green-beard I'm with you on this GB, no need for anybody to stay out of competitions....everything is above board on here...and it is especially supportive of all new growers. I don't like it....but Percy's is also a place of peace...so will leave it at that.

@monkeydo Good job on that plant! Here's a thought off the wall from left field... not sure how it could be done, but make it anonymous, so voters only vote for the plant not the grower. I have noticed some vote for the person and not the plant, comments have been made to that effect and the total contestants hadn't even entered yet. So in short to be truly fair the entries could be anonymous. Just a thought to share...

@hart Hart, I'd say that being anonymous is a really good call...just don't know how it would work, as people post their pics from their profiles..but yes, if some people are getting a bit strung out about it...would be a good way to solve that crap. 👍
Sorry guys, no real good way to be anonymous because we require signage and all that. We can accommodate the single sentence request in the contest but anonymous won’t work. If some growers want to vote for an individual member over a single plant then there must be a reason and it’s not against any rules and personally that’s fine with me. One member one vote, use it like you see fit 😉

@monkeydo maybe a way to do it would be that the entries are sent through private messaging and then it could just be one thread made by a mod every month and it tidies it up a little bit so people know just to come to one thread to check out all of the plants. The starting post of the monthly POTM thread would always say PM me your plant pictures with signage and then all the entries would come to you
