Here is the entry thread for the
November 2023 Plant of the month!
To enter, simply take a pic of your plant, with a valid sign, and enter it here!! A valid sign should have “Percy’s Grow Room”, the current month, and the name of the strain. It is VERY IMPORTANT that the sign be photographed with the plant. The sign let’s us know that you grew the plant and isn’t something copied from Instagram or elsewhere. Signs cannot be edited into your pictures but you can use a tablet or monitor as your sign in the photograph. At the end of the month all entries will go to poll for 14 days, and the members will decide the winner via a poll.
Rules
- You must have more than 10 forum posts to enter
- Your plant can only win once and only one entry per user per month is accepted!
(This means, if you enter a plant in this months comp and it wins, you can not enter that same plant into next months plant of the month competition). - Your entry must display a sign with:
The current month (November 2023), The words ” Plant of the Month”, The FULL website name ”Percy’s Grow Room”, and the strain name - If your plant has an active diary here at Percy’s, you may enter without a sign as long as we can verify it is the same plant in your diary.
- The plant must still be alive, and unchopped, showing the plant still sitting in its pot.
- Entry opens at 00:00 am on the 1st of November 2023, and closes at 23:59:59 on the last day of November 2023. All times listed are in GMT and we use the forum time stamp to verify valid entries.
- If we have less than 5 entries, the contest will continue into next month. We must have 5 entries by months end in order to vote.
Prizes:
3 Pack of Percy’s Beans, POTM Bling, Stickers, etc
To Enter Plant of the Month
Add a picture of your plant to this thread, and make sure you have a sign, with ALL of the requirements, clearly visible in the photo. This must be a physical sign, either printed, hand written, or on a tablet/monitor in your photo.
The picture really matters just as much as a spectacular plant. Feel free to add some details about your grow in the topic too. Though a picture tells a thousands words, a little bit about the life of the plant can really tell the best stories. Good lighting and a nice backdrop can really make your entry stand out from the rest. Take the time to really look at your background and lighting before you take your photo, it can really make a huge difference

@smg_grows no need to apply for anything. When you are ready just post the picture with the correct signage or diary link and you are in. Hoping to see something from you very soon

@smg_grows Good question @smg_grow, I am in the same position, waiting for Moby Dick to hopefully put on some weight in the buds before I post.
@monkeydo Hi Monkey - I have three girls growing at the moment and they are quite intertwined - can I enter them as one, or should I try to pick out each individually in my photos? Worried that if I try to separate them, I might cause some damage. Cheers

Maybe wait until they are finished.... then remove two and take pictures of the one left...... this comp is mostly for solo plants as such .......@monkeydo Hi Monkey - I have three girls growing at the moment and they are quite intertwined - can I enter them as one, or should I try to pick out each individually in my photos? This has come up before and we have always ruled the same. This is a comp for single plants and any photo you enter must have only one plant visible in the photo. Just FYI, I find that the best picture to enter is usually taken about a week before you chop, before they start eating themselves up in those final days

Thanks for the responses, ok I'll leave it a bit to see when one is ready and get some photos of it on it's own.
