What’s good everyone. This is my first grow. Going into week 7 of flower. I think they’re looking good, but as it’s my first go around I’m hoping to get some input. Are these where they should be at this stage? Based on the trichome coloration I’m thinking I should harvest in a few days?
@mellowyellow21 Welcome to Percy’s mate. Just guessing by the pictures but are those pictures of the trichomes on the sugar leaves or one of the actual bracts? Sugar leaves often show amber before the actual buds do. Your plants do look nice and frosty and if those trichomes are on a bract then it looks like it’s close to chop time imo

@mellowyellow21 welcome to percys bro
theres a saying about when u think its ready to harvest... give it another week and it'll be better 😉
not much stuff is good to go at 7 weeks
happy growing bro - your plants look nice
Time to pop some more beans 😗
@mellowyellow21 Yer I agree with Chillbert, I think they could go a week longer. But as Monkey said, its better to see trichomes on the buds mate, if you can get some more pics up of those it would help a lot

day 49 aka 7 weeks is early.
Cut it early and you lose a lot as they pack it on during the last few weeks as well as it not being as strong more speedy type high than anything else when you cut early.
as said the leaves go amber first checking the buds gives a better idea.
Looks frosty 🥶👍
jeeps I type slow macky beat me to it by 2 mins that’s some slow typing
Welcome along man, if that’s your first grow your doing something right, Plants look awesome. Go with the lads advice above 👆 good luck 🍀
Thanks for the advice! Yep Monkey, that close up of the trichomes is from a sugar leaf. I got a close up of the bud and they’re still clear.
I had a hint of what looked like nute burn, so I weened off the feeding and they bounced back pretty quick.
Thanks for the support. Pretty much all the info I’m getting/following on growing comes from the podcast. You guys are all awesome!!
Does this look like nutrition burn?
@mellowyellow21 something is going on. I know they are sucking all the energy out of the leaves now but deffo not that. One of the experts will answer better now. Good luck man. Only a week or so left for u now
One life, live it, smoke on !!!
@mellowyellow21 Looks like your feed got a little heavy at one stage but unless the burn is progressing further from the tip down the leaves then you will be fine, you mentioned you backed off your nutrient schedule slightly what are your current input ec values? The end fade will look more like autumn shades of purples, reds, yellows, pinks etc but keep in mind that a fade may not happen if you are feeding all the way till harvest, as mentioned above keep an eye on the Trichomes located on the buds themselves for a better indication of when she is ready. All things considered they look quite happy in there, and very frosty.
I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.
