My skywalkers lower leaves are turning yellow with some brown spots and my tops are starting to fade and show purplish spots. I'm thinking I might have a lock out issue. I tested the PH of the run off lastnight and it seems to be a bit low @ 5.8. Should I do I flush? She is still feeding. As run off before last was at 890ppm and lastnights was down to 450ish. I'm running silica gold, fox farm trio along with beastie bloomz, humboldts secrets "sweet and sticky" then PhD to 6.5.. I do have a cal mag supplement but i havent been giving it regularly becuase i thought there would be enough in the trio. I also give a dose of great white to them every 2-3 weeks.

Headed into the 5th week of flower. Temps during the day swing between 77 and 79 and night temps on 67-68. RH swings between 48 and 55 percent.

@greenthumbmusclegrower I had a plant that had similar problems . I gave it a fish and kelp meal and in a week or two it started turning green again.

So it looks hungry more than necessarily deficient too me. Most calmag supplement will be nitrogen based so you can give it a bit of a boost in that department but go easy. 5.8ph on the runoff and 890ppm isn't exactly crazy numbers but is on the low side for soil. What is your input ppm?

I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.

I had been keeping it 8-900 ppm going in for the first 4 weeks. For weeks 5-7 I was planning on jumping up to somewhere between 1000 and 1600ppm. I've been more on cautious side of over feeding in fear of nutrient burn.

@greenthumbmusclegrower Ok so you will be at about 1.2EC at that ppm input, usually by this point i am more around the 1.6-1.8EC which is roughly 1100-1200ppm. But i am in coco and i cannot stress this enough that in soil less is generally more. I would raise your overall PPM to around 1000ppm by increasing everything across the board. See how they go at that rate and then adjust if you need too. Being soil it will take a few feeds to see any real results but the leaves already dying off will not recover. You should see somne green come back into your upper growth and the yellowing stop progressing.

Fox Farms soils mixed is how i like to use them  with the Fox farms Trio mixed at 1/2 strength with !/2 strength calmag.  Ph'd to 6.5

I feed once and water  with 6.5 ph water the next time  every other time.   i dont add the extras in my grows this is where issues always showed up.

5.8 ph  soil is too low it should be mid 6's. if they were mine i would flush thoroughly (3x the pot size) with 6.5 ph water to reset the soil Ph and remove excess nutrients that may be built up.  and then i would feed them  at 1/2 strength.

itll take a few days to dry out enough to water again.  This is what works for me.

I use the fox farms feed schedule  and never check the ppms. if they look to need more food ill add in an extra feeding. if they look to have too much ill add in an extra watering.    hope this helps

@twisted1 I was waiting for the resident soil legend to roll on through, I thought 5.8 was a little low. with the trio at half strength and calmag at half strength do you know what the input ec is roughly? just out of curiosity as i have never used it personally.

@Bubblehok thanks for the help! I will post a update in a week or two. I'm praying I can get these ladies back on track for the second half of flower.

@twisted1 if I were to flush do I feed directly after flushing or wait for the soil to dry out before feeding?
