@mix thank you mix I get confused those do look like flower heads but not really hairs. looked a little more like new leaf structure to me sometimes.  so when they get those flower heads are those the pre-flower is that another way to tell?

No bud I saw the white hairs

I'm still a bit new but was trying to determine the same thing on my reg seeds that have been under 12/12 for a couple weeks now.  Those all look female, but its a lot easier to know the difference if you have a male to contrast it with.  It makes it more obvious because the males have a very different structure when they start showing off the little pollen balls.

 Those pictured are males.

@biggersbuds obv everyone differs, but I tend to look underneath the main top at the internodes to see if theirs are any calyxes starting with white hairs first, and then I might gently pull the top open to see if any hairs inbetween. @Mix has a better eye than me and more experience, I just couldn't really tell from the photos.
