2 Exlenvce 1200TW LED's; input voltage 265v; triple chip; veg and bloom switch. Was keeping distance 18", but was experiencing tip burn, moved them to 20-21".
Grove Wi-Fi/Bluetooth thermometer. Currently keeping temp; daytime 75-80°F. nighttime 63-70°F. Humidity between 50-55%, though always experience low drops 43% and high spikes up to 60%+RH
1 gal humidifier
5gal sugar and yeast C02 bucket.
Nutes; Cal mag; Foxfarm Big Bloom, Grow Big and Tiger Bloom.
Was supposed to be all 4 Gorilla Glue Autoflowers.2 seeds didn't germinate. So I started 2 Mexican Haze (photos). Now is where I think another problem is about 2 occur. As you'll see in the pics I believe the GG auto's are just beginning to flower as the top hairs have turned white. Though I need the 2 MH to stay in veg for another 2 weeks, at the least.
The first pic is my MH#1 at day 44; 17"H×23"W. Topped at the 7th node, all topped 17 days ago on Dec. 16th.
MH#2 germinated late at 11 days later, on day 32. 10"H×18"W; was topped at the 5th node.
Gorilla Glue#1 day 43; 13"H×25"W. topped at the 3rd node. Believe it's barely starting to flower.
GG#2 day 43; had a bad calcium deficiency, so it's suffered greatly. topped at the 5th node. 14"H×16"W. And believe it's starting to flower as well.
Supposed to have another Exlenvce 1200TW on the way. But don't have my main veg area set up yet in the first half of room, divided in 1/2. Which going to make it around 60"×60"×8'.
So I'm guessing I should be splitting these autos and photos up ASAP until the MH photos begin to flower. But concerning the GG#2 which had the Cal deficiency, wondering if I should be trimming off a lot of the lower small growth. Which wondering that same question for the other 3, anything I should be trimming. Started preforming a slight LST/super cropping by very gently bending the stems behind the 2nd node in, every other day. As I'm used to growing anything outdoors, veggies, fruits, flower's and training them slowly to grow as I wish. Still completely learning when it comes to cannabis. My next set, Cinderella 99 might try LST with coated wire's. Any assessment of any kind is greatly appreciated. As I'm a full newbie to indoors.
Yo! So, reading through all of your gear, I'd say you're looking pretty good.. I looked up those lights you have, and since they don't list the PPF or PAR ratings, it's tough to say how efficient they might be, or which part (colour) of the spectrum is being output. That said, I have similar lights that I have used by themselves and grew some fire so... ?. Give 'em a go I say. The reviews, with a grain of salt, seem pretty positive so, there's that.
Your temps/humidity are spot on though. Pretty much exactly what you want.
Pics are looking great, and you are correct - those are definitely some plant vaginas, aka, pistils on the GGs. As for moving them, if I understand correctly, you still have to keep your lights on running 18/6 (or whatever your veg schedule is) for 2 more weeks for the MHs, but have no place to put the autos GGs? If I were you, I would leave the autos in the tent under the veg lights, and then when you flip to 12/12, either leave them in there to flower with your photos, or move them somewhere where you can continue the 18/6 schedule, like the other half of the grow space when you get it up and running. Autos will benefit from as much light as you can give them (probably no more than 20/4 though..they do need some darkness for certain things to do with their metabolism..). So, probably would be easiest to leave them be until you have a space for them - flipping to 12/12 wont mess them up, they just might not be quite as big as they could have. And you gotta watch when flowering photos not to have any light leaks as they can start to re-veg fairly quickly (not always but, best not to risk it), and may be more of a problem with two adjacent grow areas with differing light schedules. Just a thought but, do watch for that.
For pruning/defoliation, my rule of thumb is to not remove any more than you have to, but enough to encourage good airflow in the under-story, and to expose the new growth/bud sites to as much light as possible. Leaves are the plant's solar panels so, the more you can leave on, the more energy the plant can produce for growth.
Hope that helps in some way, I'm sure some more ppl will chime in when they get online here. @Macky will know more about the nutes and that aspect of things as I grow in supersoil and don't have much experience with bottled nutes.
Cool that you're using a yeast/sugar fermentation too! How often are you having to change everything out? And does it smell much (I suspect kinda like bread)?
Once I have the other light, that part will get set up fairly quick. I have a center wall of foam insulation board, silver side out. And the area being made for veg, will be a box/tent that should not let any light leak except for when I open it's door or window. And eventually going to run an exhaust from it, into the flowering room area. I have a breather hole at the top, I open up when I run my exhaust fan. Having a propane furnace it draws air from downstairs, so it constantly pushes in new air into the first half of the room.
But I'm a little confused on your reply with the auto's staying under the veg lighting cycle while pistils are developing. Won't that stunt the flower growth. I've always been under the assumption they had to go 12/12 as well to flower properly.
The sugar/yeast C02 bucket I change out every 10 days. And it has a bread making smell. I don't have a meter to measure the CO2 ppm's. So I don't know if it's doing any good. But before I jumped off FB for a while. Inside a group, one fella claimed with him doing the same thing it was putting out 1500ppm. And I haven't been trying to trim much, just what leaves shown signs of the calcium deficiency, and a few to let light through the canopy of them. Appreciate the help TG.
Your plants are looking nice and happy, Only the Photo's need 12/12 to flower, Autos do better under 20/4 or 18/6 lights schedules where they will grow and yield the most, I usually keep my autos in my veg tent under a 20/4 light schedule.Good Luck with you grow .

Thanks my friend. So if I'm understanding this correctly. I need to keep the two auto's under at least 18/6 for their entire life cycle. They'll flower better under the 18/6 verses doing a 12/12 with the photos? It's early over here and 2nd cup of coffee and my brain is just starting to function lol ☕✌️?
Yeah they can use all the light they can due to there short life span, but if 12/12 is all you can do at the moment they will still be alright just a lower yield.

Well I'll be doing my best to keep the auto's at 18/6. As the flower room, is both at the moment, veg and bloom room. The MH photos have another 2 weeks of veg. I was afraid I'd have some complications like this when the other GG auto's didn't germinate. Now I know to never try and grow the two together. See that's really good information, cause I've read so much from other site's and watched a lot of videos. And not a single mention of always keeping autoflowers at 18/6 or 20/4 throughout the entire life cycle. I learn new and great things on here, every day I'm on..
Myself and many others here run both, I have been on several sites and seen the bad info given out, then found Percy's and seen it was a different atmosphere everyone is friendly the info is good its a place that everyone wants to see you grow successfully and enjoy a bountiful harvest, No one wants to see anyone fail here and I dont think the admin would allow the BS.
