My recent Grow Purple #1 by Dutch Passion seeds acquired by the OCS in ontario canada 100% legal I usually only grow 2 and maximizing my space with heavy daily work on my low stress training and high stress training using a scrog and lots of love.... just fun other premium nugs stayed purple after harvest and are curing in nice jars smells amazing sweet spicy almost fermented grapes and mango but very tasty kush earthy bold fruity berry like taste with that kush almost coffee and garlic exhale very nice buds...
Growing the same strain in soil hope mine are as nice. Only in the first week of flower.
Did you drop room temp at night? Or anything else?
When did the purple begin to show?
@bobthedruid hey dude thanks for the kind words actually I was a tad worried it wouldn't change color but I just let her go and it starting changing from leaves first they became more and more purple and then the tops of the nice colas starting changing top down I think the light actually had alots to do with it cause I decided to open up the canopy and let the light hit the lower buds and they started turning purple after ... after harvest most buds were nice and colorful they also retained their hues after hanging and drying excellent strain very hardy I had 2 different phenos though one was very bright green only purple on leaves and buds came out 100% green and then the other pheno is very purple so ... I truly beleive its not the Temps ny temperature always remains a nice warm 22 ⁰ in my house room temp and tent even warmer perhaps at night theyvwent down a bit but Indiantown force the color it was honestly all genetic and from the lights they seemed to have increased their colors more when they actually got light to the buds... hope that helps I'm sure soils no different genetics are quality and with good growing skills anyone can push any strain tonl its max potential my brother only does soil living soil and his cannabis is crazy looking very potent he just jnows what he's doing I guess dwc is easy and salts make things easier but theirs nothing like a good soil grow stoked to see how your goes !!!
@zellisorange that's a relief to hear. I am only in the first week of flower so maybe I'm expecting to see more colour then am have so far.
I run my lights at night and let them sleep during the day so hopefully they will be done before high summer and they don't get to warm while trying to sleep. But I am in Ireland so the hottest our summer gets is about 25-30c.
Mine is growing vigorously in Veg so hopefully they will do just as well in flower. If they end up half as nice as your I will be doing well
