hows the brain cake?

got 3 seeds and wanted to try some photos for my next run, only got a 4x2 with not a lot of head space

just trying the first joint of barely dried brain cake by ripper seeds as pictured above ... tastes very good my friend 👌

She grows upright (not bushy) so I’d top earlier next time .. not huge yield but not small either  (havnt weighed up yet).
buds are very dense and pass every bud test I know (stick to things/ rebounds when squashed/ smell good / look great/ smokes smooth/ gets you nice n high)

harvested day 60 when trichromes starting to amber, all pistels browned (though look red against the purplely looking bud)

I did buy another 3 pack as I only got a single first time, needless to say I’d recommend this one 👍

with regards to height she was flipped at 18” tall and finished about 30” so 1.5x in the stretch I’d say 

I only have 6 feet including light so 4 foot is the tallest plant I can grow but most I keep to 80cm to 1m 

@chillbert how long she take to grow before the flip? And all that info was really useful man.

@greentomato so I’d say 2 weeks germ and seedling stage til first leaves then she got 4 weeks veg til the flip. She grew fast in veg compared to others with her, I was planning on 5 weeks veg, didn’t top til node 6 next time that’ll be node 4 as she had upward growth habit and I want more bush on her lol 

To add to the smoke report ... very nice nugs, lower than average yield for me but that’s ok was still sufficient for the space she took and 8.5wks looking ripe 

nice flavour and good strength 

purple tinge to the nugs which is currently trendy in some places I hear but to be fair she is a looker 😉
