Questions Dehumidifier

@mix I have a dimplex 15L dehumidifier and it runs very quiet, get yourself a inkbird humidity controller and hopefully you’ll also save some money on your electric bill🤙🏼

@mix judging from some of your other questions, Inkbird products would be a good fit, user friendly and not overly techy. Inkbird and similar controllers turn power on and off to the device plugged into it when the Inkbird sensor tells it to. In this case, the dehumidifier (or humidifier), should not be digital. Some digitally controlled units, if power is cut, then turned back on again (this is how Inkbirds control your kit), the humidifier or dehumidifier might have to be reset (the Inkbird would not work, in this case).

@mix I missed this earlier, so I'm not sure if this is of any help or not. However, I have a dehumidifier in my basement for my living space due to the climate I live it. It has a built-in digital humidistat and can be set to a desired level. It works great.  I also have an inkbird for my grow space to run a humidifier, not a dehumidifier (since the temp from the light keeps the humidity low). It is a fantastic tool which I am glad I bought. Hope that helps!

@im_sparky, almost identical practice I do, keep the basement in a general range, and tent ventilation and humidifier for finer control in the tent.

If a one happens to have the AC Infinity exhaust, and the AC Infinity 4 port controller, then the UIS Control Plug is a good option (I hope  ). I have two on the way for each of my tents, and I’ll plug the humidifier into it. The AC Infinity controller will have even more control of temp and RH (and not having multiple systems potentially competing with each other).
