So the exhaust set up I have just isn’t cutting it smell wise.what’s the best brand to cut the smell down ? I’ve been using dryer sheets on the exhaust end and to no avail the whole house is reeking.
I just use a cheap filter housing then remove the carbon they use and replace it with activated carbon produced by Redox here in Aus. As long as the housing is constructed well enough that it sealed the only difference will be the quality of carbon in the filter. Redox make all the carbon filter products that most treatment works use to purify water and shit so the product is top shelf, I'm just not sure of it's availability to the public as they are a commerical seller and located in Aus.

I use the iPower filters and they use the Australian activated charcoal Weed Viking is talking about. I’d definitely recommend looking for the Aussie charcoal as it really is good stuff. BTW, my iPower filters haven’t let me down yet but I also keep plug in air fresheners in the grow area. Tropical ones like “Hawaiian” seem to cover up any left behind smells very well. My grow room smells sort of like a hotel lobby lol.
I've enjoyed using the AC Infinity 6" carbon filter and fan. With the controller you can keep it always at the lowest speed in the off setting so it is always scrubbing. Then the controller will trigger the fan to faster speeds when it hit your different set environmental factors.
Everyone wants a bit of aussie charcoal in their filters 😉
