I start by saying that most health problems can be helped with products that are not as potent as FECO (aka. RSO). But in some cases it is all that will help.

The first time I saw a post that said, "Cannabis Cures Cancer" I posted a reply that, although I want cannabis legalized as much as anyone, perhaps unproven claims could do more harm than good. I then started looking into it myself and found there actually was a lot of research, since 1974, about cancer and cannabis. This research shows that, not only does cannabis help prevent the spread of cancer cells, it also causes the cells to 'commit suicide', but stopping their supply of oxygen. So I wrote an apology, and went on with my other cannabis activist activities.

Then, a little over a year ago, I was diagnosed with cancer myself. Things just got serious.
My PSA number (an indicator of 'activity' in the prostate) was 39, and normal is 4 or below. A biopsy was taken and my number went up to 49. ...Not good.

The doctor recommended radiation and hormone treatments, but I had something else in mind. I wanted to try cannabis - first. Quickly, here is my reasoning; There is not enough research done with real humans so far, and too many of my old pot-smoking buddies have died of cancer and none of them were given the option of cannabis as a treatment, or even to help during chemo/operations (pain), and I can't help but wonder if I might still have them around, ...or some, ...or even one, if they had known about cannabis as a treatment for cancer. So, for them, as well as all the others who have suffered, and are suffering from cancer treatments that are killing them, I made myself a guinea pig for future sufferers.

So enough about history. Here is what I have done. (NOTE: Where I live now it is illegal, so I had to go underground for my 'medicine'.)

I started asking around and found someone that could supply me with a few pounds of raw cannabis, plus started to grow my own from seeds I purchased. As I was waiting for the grow to flower I made FECO (Full Extract Cannabis Oil) using the Rick Simpson method. Which is basically a rice cooker and ISO alcohol (Everclear is not sold where I live either), and a couple of pounds of raw cannabis, a fan, and outdoor cooking.
I got about 75 grams of oil out of it (and learned a lot while doing so!), then put it in capsules, with doses of 1/2 a grain of rice size to a full capsule. I started taking the smaller dose at night, before bed, and built up to a gram every night until it was gone.
I also used sunflower seed oil, for the taste (2 liters), a slow cooker (Crock Pot) and 120 grams of cannabis (not decarboxylated), and mashed it into the oil, then cooked it on high for 1 hour and low for 8 hours more. I then turned it off and kept it covered overnight.
Since I had no way to test it, I have no idea what % of THC/CBD is in either the FECO or the infusion (sunflower seed oil), but it is what it is, I did what I could, and there I am, good or bad.

I changed my diet, eating only chicken or fish, more veggies, and less carbs. Bought a juicer and made carrot/apple/orange/ginger juice, took more vitamins and minerals, took my FECO every night and 2 droppers full of the infused oil every day for 3 months then tested again. ...My PSA number went down to 37, and I was hopeful for the first time. I lost weight (about 12 kg. or 25 lbs.), made more FECO with the home grown, but added it to chocolate this time to make my daily dose. I still had plenty of the infusion so am taking that every day too, plus (I forgot to mention) I suffer from chronic pain, so smoke/vape daily to control that as well, having gotten off a 10 year opiate addiction (codeine, Tramadol, Morphine, and muscle relaxants as well), and managing the pain more naturally now.

I tested a couple of months ago and my PSA was down to 27. (!) Happy day!! I tested yesterday and it was 22. So it seems I'm heading in the right direction at least, even if I have a ways to go to get it down to the 4 or 5 it should be.

Next month I see the doctor again. The last time he was amazed that my "Voo-Doo medicine" (as he called it) actually helped! Now, as my numbers keep dropping, I expect him to still recommend radiation and hormones (chemical castration, basically), ...which I will respectfully decline, ...again.

Sorry for the personal post, but if anyone with questions, and needs answers, maybe it will help them. I will answer any posts to this thread I can, and doing this, "on your own" is a bit scary and nerve wracking. If you have cancer, this is not what you need.

Final note: Our bodies are amazing, and we can heal ourselves better that we have been told, so being positive, using visualization, and staying calm all help too.

So grow your own, peace out, and keep chillin' and willin' to accept health over dis-ease! ?

Don't be sorry dude, posts like this are what the cannabis community needs. I am so happy for you that it seems to be working though.

I was like you when I kept seeing all these "cannabis cures cancer" posts ages ago, then, I actually looked into it and it is quite an interesting topic to delve into, especially because of the U.S govt's suppression of various studies

@cloudy_kitchen

Seems to be something going on, but you cant really be sure until peer reviewed proper scientific studies have been done, and that's only just starting now. We will know much more in ten years, partly because of people like Elon willing to sacrifice themselves as guinea pigs.

Cannabis i an amazing plant, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was the cure for everything tbf lol

In total honesty I was a pot smoker but I didn't know enough medically about the benefits of various cannabis products so sadly my only option now is to manage the pain and try keep myself as well as possible but just today I was reading today about the benefits of RSO this is definitely something that I am going to pursue thanks for sharing your story

Hi,
Sounds like you're having a bitch of a time too! I have chronic pain as well, severe arthritis, collapsed disks, some other problems too. Most of them I can handle with what I smoke/vape (and the oil infusion I made myself), but the 'really' serious stuff... well, I think that takes something stronger. The thing I learned about FECO (RSO) is that a little can go a long way! Right now I am still fighting the cancer, but have reduced my intake to about 1/10th (or less) of what I took during my 3 month/60 gram initial treatment. That treatment turned the cancer growth around for me, but the final results are still not in as to a total remission. I look at this this way:

It can't kill you to try it, and it just might improve your quality of life. What's the down-side to that!? Depending on what you decide, remember, it is not fun to do a 3 month treatment, so don't expect it to be a cake walk. >It's a bitch. But you won't die from it and there is no real withdrawals after the 3 months, ...just about 3 or 4 days of re-adjusting to not being blasted all the time. ?
For my pain and anxiety I use my homegrown strains of types like Diesel and Skunk as well as fruity (Lemon or Blueberry) types. Keep trying different strains with different THC/CBD combinations. Hopefully you'll find a couple that help better than others for you. Smile Last... I use a vape for raw buds (Please don't use liquid vapes!), which is pretty discrete in more public places (no smoke/less smell), but am 'old school' and enjoy joints at home too. ?
Best of luck on your journey my friend!
