shout to @GreenBeard who was chatting in the movie club about best and worst places to get stoned and made me think we could post a pic or write a sentence or 2 about the best places we’ve all been high..
And just keep it going until we’ve got stoned everywhere on the planet between us 😄😉
Here is my first entry....
From Kathmandu, Nepal, get yourself to Pokhara on the bus (7hrs+) as it’s more adventure than flying in from Kathmandu (45 mins)....
From lakeside (the touristy part of Pokhara) head north out of town and hike 5-7 hours to the village of Panchase ( ask locals for directions)....
The village sits at 3500m and straddles a stunning dual panorama of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas with unrivalled views across to Mount Fishtail (sacred and unclimbed)....
I first went there as a young 20 year old in 1995, then again in 2014 and also 2017. Each time the village has remained largely unchanged. Each time, the journey more like a pilgrimage to me..
The first time I was there we were greeted by an offering of honey tea and a bud of around 2 feet long, whilst my guide scored around half a carrier bag of thumb-sized sensi buds for around £3. WTF !!!!
The sun shine, the mountains, the local life, all simply stunning...

Not a travel person unless its work so majortiy of mine would be UK although I do like to roll one for certain locations, lol
But...I've smoked in a few 'high' places...
The roof of Earls court exhibition centre - 1992 'ish
Sat above that middle window for an hour watching the traffic 
The top of this tower...used to be Post Office tower, now BT - about 95 ish
The floor below the top as top was missing at the time, lol...its was breezy - about 2004
About 2ft from the pointy bit in this one, nearly got caught, lol - about 89-90...remember it well, Mrs was pregnant with No.1 son
Havent got the same opportunities I had back then but probably a good thing, lol...security is tighter now, I'd probably get shot
November 2019 right before the pandi, decided to slip in and check out Cuba for a couple weeks. Figured if I wanted to see it I better hurry, the worlds stupidity is spreading quickly. So no tour, no group and I don't speak Spanish. This is how I like to travel, off line maps work great in any country. just don't loss your phone. Stayed in Havana, then started traveling. Wander down to this falls, nice scenery too. But the fucking jungle was second to none. The plant life there is unbelievable. Finally found a little smoke before I left, nothing to brag about. Didn't want to be asking too much about weed, but man I wish I could have.
