Indica will grow shorter and bushier than sativa in most cases, but it is best to just go with what you prefer.

@dopezilla I like Sativa's. you can top them multiple times to keep them smaller. and use some LST training. as far as strains go i would look and see which ones interest you. you can find reviews and see what others think. what i like may be different to what you like. which ever strains you choose there are many growers here willing to help guide you thru the grow. good luck looking forward to watching you grow.
Sativa to change the things I can, Indica to accept the things I can’t.
Sativas tend to be more off a soaring high and trippy where indicas tend to be more medicated and sedative. Which one do you want?
You can grow both together with training to keep your canopy level even. Most sativa strains nowadays have some % of indica in them
