This was more of a test of cloning, with the space I have. They might end up going in my tent, but they are not a priority, they will go in peat/perlite mix. One of them I didn’t have room for in hydro and kept it in the clone dome for awhile in Rockwool cube, and noticed it was only having roots come out one side. So I put it in a 2 gallon with the medium. My goal is to train these things and keep them down in my small area until I can finish my grow. Then I will select the best 1 or 2, rather than the 4 I had in my 2x2x5.
Small
2: Sunblaster T5 18”
•General hydroponics Maxigrow
•Microbe-lift special blend beneficial bacteria (from petco)
•XtremeGardening WP microbes
This is my hydro water setup.
2 gallons of water in a 3 gallon reservoir:
MaxiGrow: 2 teaspoons
MykosWP: about a spoonfull
Azos: about half a spoonfull
Microbe-lift: (very strong) 5ml or less
carboload: 3ml
the microbes are to dominate the water from other pathogens or bacteria. I live in a warm climate and can only really keep the air temperature around 70F. So bacteria is more of problem but not since I use microbes and change the water every 6 days.
Had to move one clone to a nursery bag because it was just about touching the light. Had to use a piece ac infinity duct to keep light from hitting the nursery bag which is thin. Kind of worried about the speed of the two good clones. I don’t want to run out of room before my tent is done flowering, nothing a little training can’t hold back though.
Feeding general hydroponic’s MaxiGrow, these aren’t a for sure thing but I’m hoping to put these in the tent after I get done flowering. Pretty dang happy with these so far. Can’t wait to see in a month.
Growing strong.
Moving right along
The clone in the back decided to start growing. The 2 main ones are starting to look good.
My feelings are “alternating” on this but I “currently” don’t know much.
I’m going to put my self in “charge” of experimenting with the electro-culture, I hope I don’t get any “resistance” from the Percy people. I think I could possibly get “ohm-azing” results.
The puns are getting painful 🤣🤣, anyone else 😂
😂 You guys are a charge!
On a more serious note, i have heard that tree roots can sense water flowing, like through a pipe or a stream, because the flow is an electrical current. The roots will grow towards the flowing water. The electrical & magnetic field associated with a stream of water would be very subtle in strength, and roots would have to be pretty sensitive.
