@eastwoodzbangin Yeah Liverpool are amazing at the moment, probably best team in the world and youve got to say Klopp is the best manager on the world t the moment too. Think City will push them close next season though. I know as a Utd fan you'll hate to hear this but I hope City win the Champions League this season. Sancho would be a great signing, think he'll definitley be playing in the prem next season and can only really see him at Utd or Chelsea so will be an interesting transfer window.

Well the club announced today that Warnock has agreed to stay on next season so we'll see. We cant do any worse than this season lol.

@redeyejedi Well the end of your season looked promising so I doubt you will have another season like the one you just had in terms of points! I literally agree with everything you said about Liverpool and city! and honestly I want city to win too....yea they're UTDs rivals, but I would rather an English team win the champions league again to solidify ENGLAND HAS THE BEST FOOTBALL ON THE PLANET!!!! next season man utd can push for the champions league;) (if they get Sancho)

@eastwoodzbangin no hopefully not mate. We made our 1st signing of the season today so start as we mean to go on. Yeah exactly, always like to see an English club win the Champs League and I genuinely think that City play the most attractive football out there so they deserve some reward for it.. I think Arsenal winning the FA cup today still goes to prove that the Premier League is still the to most competitive high level league in the world.

Id really like to see Utd do well in it next season. Theyre too bigger club to not be amongst the top teams in Europe.

So whats the closest big team to where you live then?

@redeyejedi My Old man relocated to Canada before I was born so im stuck with nothing but crappy MLS soccer around me. The biggest team near me is Toronto FC. My old man and I only watch United and have all the subscriptions for them, but if Toronto make it far in the "playoffs" we like to see those games live. Have a close family friend that has season tickets to ManU though so we try to fly out there for those as much as we can. Unfortunately I haven't really been able to over the last year!:(

I was actually super happy with the arsenal FA cup Win! exactly because of the reason you just said...it goes to show how competitive the premier league still is because arsenal are still a good team! Pep has Man City run like a well oiled machine...if his attitude was a bit better I would say he's as good as Klopp!

@eastwoodzbangin Ah I see, still a nice place to live even if the football is nowhere near as good out there. My uncle actually lives in Vancouver but even with that, I am still yet to visit Canada but it is on my list. I did for a while follow New York City when Lampard, Pirlo and David Villa were there but unfortunately its just not the same standard of football.

Hopefully you'll be able to get over for a game at some point in the next season or too then, when they finally allow fans back into the stadiums. Did you watch the game last night then? Good result for your reserve team really lol.

Yeah I know what you mean about Pep, he doesnt have the personality or charisma that Klopp has. Its lucky Pep gets his teams playing such good football or I can imagine him not being the most popular manager out there.

@redeyejedi Honestly was pretty please with the performances in the europa league....lots of players on the reserve team that I think should be gone though. Im happy for Lingard to get another goal...I have a feeling he will be transfered to a new club this summer, there's just no place for him in the squad. Just watched the Man City vs Real Madrid Champions league game...I knew real had no chance LOL excited for city to progress to the semi finals (I doubt Olympic Lyon will beat them in the quarters) then a PSG vs Man City would be excellent to watch!!!!

I always try and watch a few games in the MLS when some big name player goes to a team even if it is the end of their careers. Its a common theme with these football players that once they can't perform in Europe they go to North America or china to play. David Becks was exciting for a bit at Galaxy but it was still a noticeable drop off.

Its a beautiful place to live, although winters can really suck LOL.

@eastwoodzbangin Yeah werent too bad for your reserve team was it. Shows good squad depth though and to compete at the top level, you need that. Agree with you 100% on Lingard. I genuinely used to think he had talent and would be a top player for Utd but he seems more interested in posting snapchat videos then actually focusing on his football lol. If he took after his mate Rashford in terms of attitude a bit more he'd be a much better player. I remember watching him for Birmingham in the championship when he was on loan and he scored 4 goals and looked unplayable but its almost like he thinks hes made it so doesnt need to try anymore.

City were good werent they, didnt let Real get into the game at all. Soon as Sterling scored you knew it was game over. I think the winners will be City, PSG or Bayern. Watched Munich play Chelsea last night and they hammered them without even really breaking a sweat. Cant rule out Atletico though, they did beat the on paper best team in the world in the last round.

Youre right, it seems to be a graveyard league for alot of the older European players, cant imagine anyone going to the MLS in their prime yet, but it might get there 1 day. Theyve had some decent players at Galaxy with Gerrard and Robbie Keane also.

Whats happening with that Miami team that Beckham has put together. Is that still even happening?

I can imagine it can be brutally cold there but being the fact that it rarely ever snows here, Id love that, for a short while at least anyway lol

I agree with everything you had to say on Lingard! I think its safe to say that your prediction of either city, Bayern or PSG is pretty solid. I personally think its between Bayern and City at this point. Both clubs knocked the two best Spanish clubs out EASILY especially Bayern....8-2 that's EMBARRASING at this level its embarrassing at any level that's just dreadful for Barcelona. PSG looked a little weak on defence against Atalanta who are a mid tier Italian side....if they play city or Bayern they're toast in my opinion. Lets see what happens fingers crossed the English club gets it though! The "Inter Miami" thing is definitely happening I believe 2020 was supposed to be the first season im not sure to say where that is though...I don't pay enough attention to that league to be honest I just thought I heard through the grapevine that 2020 would be the first season for them...quite possible that Covid-19 did something too though!

@redeyejedi Trust me my guy...you get sick of the cold FAST and the snow for that matter if you aren't doing things with it (like snowboarding or when I was a kid building snow men and snow forts was sick)

@eastwoodzbangin Well so much for my predictions mate lol. Cant beleive both City and Utd lost, I mean how you werent 4-1 up at 1 point i'll never know. Gotta make Bayern favourites for it now after they ripped apart Barcelona, like you said it was embarrassing and the big rumour is now that Messi wants to come play in the Prem next season, would love that if he did Smile

Not sure about the Europa though, after beating you id of made Sevilla favourites but I watched the Inter game last night and they looked good going forward and based on my previous predications think i'll just wait and see what happens lol.

Yeah alot of people say the novelty of snow soon wears off when you get it regularly. Im moving to north of England end of the month so chances are, i'll see more snow so ask me that question again in about 6 months time lol

Honestly im gutted about the united game. Best team lost clearly but then again that's one of the many lovely things about football! I am with you in thinking Bayern are the favourites now and HEAVY. I hope PSG can upset them though or maybe even LYON Grin I would love if LYON somehow won it all of the three teams left but unrealistic LOL.

I have a feeling Messi might go for the City move...I truly think he can do big things there and they could really benefit from each other right now! although I think city need one more world class defender to be at Bayern level at this point now after a few of those champions league results. I think no question Inter will win...or should I say EX Man U! Romelu lukaku and Alexis Sanchez AND Ashley young all playing brilliantly over at inter.

LOL ill make sure to ask again soon man after you been hanging around some Geordies for a little while 😉 (hope I got that right I think Geordies are what people call people from north England)

@eastwoodzbangin Yeah definitely the best team lost but how often does that happen in these big games. Hopefully like you say that does happen and Lyon can get past Bayern tonight, should be a good game anyway.

Agree with you on City's defence. Unfortunately it just doesnt look like John Stones is quite good enough for them which is a shame as I was hoping he'd be a big player for England but there you go. Theyve signed Ake from Bournemouth and hes a quality centre back but is a big jump in class going from Bournemouth to City but then it was the same for Van Dijk when he left Southampton for Liverpool and youd have to say hes the best centreback in the world at the moment

Think Young was your biggest loss beleive it or not, I always thought he was decent when he played for you but I guess he just wanted a new challenge and im pleased to see him doing well over there. Lukaku and Sanchez only have themselves to blame really, Lukaku was a shadow of the player he was in his 2nd season for Utd and Sanchez... well what can you say - it was like he couldn't be bothered after he left Arsenal.

Yes youre right mate, Geordies are in the North East of England but they'd tell you youre only a true Geordie if youre from Newcastle lol.
