Am I being overly worried and rip my plants out or risk potential exposure?

This summer the Wife and I took 6 weeks off to drive from east coast to Oregon coast and back with a camper, bucket list stuff.

I used to use Cannabis recreationally, but as I get older it becomes more and more medicinal, meaning it's going with us on our trip.

'Merica is such a patchwork of freedom and oppression that I really had to decide every night if I could risk taking a puff or not, based on which of the 19 states we drove through we were staying in.

In a few states, no problem roll a fatty by the fire pit

In others, take a puff and risk my livelihood, family and freedom

Of course, each state border crossing with my medicine is whatever it is...

Shit, I didn't notice there were do many posts in the thread until I randomly logged in today.

Just for the record, my daughter wasn't tasked to look after the gardens.  And as far as I know doesn't even know about the indoor tent grow, I did have this setup with a small auto watering arrangement.  She is not a smoker, the closest being that I gave her a brownie when she had period pain recently explaining what it was & how it can help.

Shes now broken any trust I had in her and am extremely disappointed in her actions.

Thanks so much for the advice guys.  Of course you are right and I guess I knew the smart thing was to rip them out.  Its been such an interesting hobby to start & getting more interesting & exciting in anticipation every day.

@sevans1965 - Tomato cuttings look like they're starting to root & recover in the tent.  At least this way I can keep practicing & get some indoor experience.

Security system is installed so if any strangers rock up, I'll have them on 4k video.

Any thoughts on what to expect if the police get & tipoff & come to visit? @bubblehok and anyone else in our land?

If I hypothetically planted Guerilla style on private acreage should be sweet right?

@brewer76 Yeah you wont know they are coming mate, they will just turn up, usually on a dawn raid and kick your door in. The only way to assume plausible deniability is if they are planted off your land in the bush somewhere. I know a few people that have been raided and it isn't a pleasant experience by any stretch. They will take anything even remotely considered paraphernalia and use it to charge you along with any seeds, plants, etc. If you happen to get a visit and you are only growing tomatoes in the tent it will make them look stupid so they will turn your house upside down to find anything they can claim was cannabis grown in that tent then they can seize all the growing equipment(so get rid of any trim in the freezer etc). We have no rights unfortunately here and they can claim what they want with the onus on you to prove otherwise. The future is looking brighter however with more movement being made around the legalise sphere, but at this point being as careful as possible and keeping it under wraps is the safest bet mate.

20 years ago, had a 6 lighter going in my bedroom, far too many "friends/people" knew I grew a few plants. Very few knew I had 54 Monsters filling the room.

My house mate and I decided to go out on a Saturday night, we called round a few lads met at out place we went down town and had a drink. 

Woke up in the morning to find someone (who'd been out with us the night before) had robbed a couple of black bin sacks of weed, bummer.

The next Saturday an old acquaintance knocks the door and asks to stay the night as he's in town seeing a girl he had a thing with and they had fallen out and he had no where to go, sure mate you can stay the night no problem.

I'll just pop and get a smoke grab  beer out the fridge buddy, I went up stairs grabbed a bud come back down and there was a house full of body building meat heads, knives and a roll of black bin sacks.

Up to you but that was my experience, your daughter hasn't had an experience like this or the big red key being used at 5 in the morning.

@brewer76  Bummer on the compromise and having to take it down.  Glad you found out before real problems came through the door.

On fighting for legalization & acceptance:  everyone on this site is just by being here.  Its a matter of personal choice the degree to which each of us participates.  It is changing and i think will continue to over most of the planet.  Sadly/Ironically I think the biggest factor pushing it back over the line, at least in the US, is $$$.
