Is the cheese strain just messed up nowadays
I am out & was given some “ exodus cheese “ it’s takes like nothing no cheese just tastes like some random not so strong m skunk.
i grew some uk cheese from a random breeder that just tasted of skunk to albeit it had more actual taste & was stronger
is it a case of too many breeders making there own & failing to get the “ cheese “ taste I remember
it worries me that my own exodus cheese I have going ( greenhouse) won’t taste of cheese.
cheese used to stink like cheese & taste like cheese
you couldn’t hide cheese it was so smelly
is that what’s happened some breeders have grown tried to grow the smell out & losing that dank cheese flavour.
was also given some 4 kings grown well but has the lavender turp & tastes like soap ; gives a new meaning to wash your mouth 🤣
back to cheese is it almost lost with all the crossing & the cheesey cheese I remember only available from a select few

@mix lots of breeders out there nowadays, you gotta go for the "big buddha" cheese, he is the original breeder

I think as macky said it's a lot of breeders trying to jump on the hype, if you can source the big buddah cheese that's the way to go.
I feel like a, like a slice of butter... melting on top of a big-ol' pile of flapjacks... yeah.
Didn’t you say greenhouses exodus cheese was a good one (that the one I have in veg atm)
Budda cheese huh
I had that loads however it was never as good a pure cheese most lightly bar far I reckon it was because the budda cheese I tried was in dam & not that well grown.

I dunno thou the pheno cross was different as it’s history says it’s a much better yielder than the original Cheese, and flavour
its not the original flavour I remember & didn’t smell as stinky when I got it
It’s the original flavour I’m after deff think after reading up on big Buddha history it’s just not the same
maybe fingers crossed greenhouse has the “ real deal “ the one you can’t take out in public for it Absolutely stank & tastes like cheese otherwise I’m going to give up buying cheese seeds and say it was nice In the 90,s… but in 2023 forget about trying to find it again

As I remember the interview we did with Milo, Mr Big Buddha himself, the original seeds were the product of a UK cheese clone and an Afghan male cross. The male didn’t bring many qualities to the cross so the Cheese came through very well. Maybe I’ll have to listen to that interview again to be sure but my memory has that Afghan in the mix somewhere. All this being said, the Big Buddha cross is the one that he won the cup in Amsterdam with back in the day. That original mom is still living too. One other cut that might hold some promise on a cheese cut is Cheesequake by TGA Subcool genetics. It’s based on Exodus Cheese. They are expensive beans, available in regs only atm. Hope you find your White Whale bro. I’m still hunting that strain from my youth too. Haven’t found it yet but it’s a blast looking for it

nearly met him in dam once but decided not to be Introduced because the guy I was with that knew him didn’t get on,talked to him on overgrown before he was got to be known for his knowledge.
didn’t know he got into breeding after it closed. Funny both him & bog ( bog bubble ect ) were just ordinary guys at one point that owe there fame to that site
