Best strain for Red Leb hash anyone?

@saxplayer Well I call it a shower... but it was more like a white room we had to sit in while our father pissed and shat on us every night soon as he returned home from work at the curry mill, how we used to dream of being able shower in the rain ☹️ lol

@stootie You had a father..... you lucky lucky bar-stuard. We used to dream of having one of those. Once a week my mother would dress up in trousers shirt and braces and pretend to be our dad. She would take a belt and beat the living shit out of us, but it wasn't the same as a'vin a real dad. We used to dream about a dad who would come 'ome from't pub at night, take off 'is belt and give us all a jolly good thrashing to with 'inch of our lives.

@billy420bonds Golden showers, you lucky bar-stuard. We used to dream of bronze, or even copper showers. We never even knew what a shower was. We had a tin bath that used to 'ang on outside shitter wall, and once a month we would all have a turn, one after 'nother, whether we needed it or not. Mother used to use bath water as soup after that. Lasted us a couple of weeks it did. Pot luck stew we called it.

I tried straining over the toilet, that did not seem to produce good shit.    so i suggest using another stain....

@saxplayer hi mate, i did grow a lebanese last year... it is in a completed diary of mine ..i'll dig it out if i can find it .. 

the hash u make will not be the same as the hash you smoked as that was sun grown in lebanon.. the hierlooms or landraces are adpated to these local conditions which differ from indoor tent growing.. you can still produce something very nice and it will be unique ! but not like red leb of old .. dont want to dampen your dream just give it a reality check.. i still have a jar of the weed i saved.. it is near pure sativa high and leaf style but short and quick flowering.. with an amaxing terp profile which is insane the weed is not strong .. maybe 6-8% thc so you need a hell of alot to make a good sized piece of hash ..

i used some of the plant i grew to make dry sift hash using dry ice.. this is documented in an old thread here i did called 'hash making in the home' .. i made a tiny bit of authentic uk indoor grown lebanese hash which was superb smoke but just not the same as sun grown leb imo and not red, but golden..

you will have a lotta fun in the process and i wish you every luck .. full respect for growing a landrace .. not many do !

@chillbert Hey Chillbert, thanks for the reply man. To be honest, I will be just glad to actually get the seeds through without being confiscated! 

Yeah I realise that folks tend to grow modern strains for their better qualities, high yields etc, but I just thought I would give it a go with an original strain first. Here in NZ we get unreal heat (solar radiation) like you wouldnt believe. Hole in the ozone layer. Maybe with the right soil and approach, I can get close to the Lebanon conditions maybe? I'll give it a go. I'm reading as much as I can get my hands on about their growing conditions in the Bekaa Valley, also I like the idea of people cultivating and retaining the "old" strains. Call me old fashioned. 

Anyway, lets just hope I actually get the seeds first!
