Questions Strains that suppress appetite and strains with THCV

@satans-soup-soils, Well Sativa is more energetic than Indica, that is true. And Haze is a sativa strain. So if you looked for that at the seed bank, that should get you started. Then when you grow it, you would probably want to harvest just a little bit early for the full energetic effect. I grow manly sativa, and I have great appetite suppression, could just be me. lol  I don't about the THCV but I hope you find what your looking for.

@satans-soup-soils I grew two Ghost Train Power for my 2nd last run, they are 70% sativa and 30% indica, genetics Ghost Train Haze x Pellezino.

I had the seeds from Ali Bongo (bongo bulk), I can smoke it all day and dont need to eat anything.

My last grow I had another 70% Sative 30% Indica, also from Ali Bongo, Banana Dance (Freedom Of Seeds), it doesnt make me want to eat anything either, theres no mention of Haze in the discription tho, the THC is 20-30% and its also 15% CBD

So I was wondering if all Sativa maybe reduce hunger, the Ghost Train was the first time iv ever had Sativa (first time that I know of anyway) so its all still kinda new to me, but those two strains are my favorite weed iv ever tasted, fuckin love the stuff.lol 🤣 

@woodi2  thank you Mate!!  Ye that's awesome.   I know sativa or haze/energetic strains do suppress appetite,  I've had a super silver haze and even the calamity jane auto I grew had me going 100 mile an hour .  But I read that the component that suppress's appetite is THCV  but I will have to research more. @stootie  Ye mate I agree!!  I grew super silver haze  at 90% sativa and 10% indica and it was like doing a line of coke. My heart started racing and I couldn't sit still.... but more notably,  I wasn't interested in eating.

A strain naturally high in thcv is durban poison (at around 2%).... for a long time this was regarded as high levels of thcv... other strains with higher thcv include durban based strains such as GSC / Jack the ripper/ doug's varin / pineapple purps.... each registering up to 3-4%

specific breeding for high thcv has led to strains.... Dutch passion now have brought to market ther highest thcv levels in THCVictory seeds - just the 200euro for 3 !!! but thcv now at 16-18% !!!!

I see seedsman have now bought their 'copied' versions to market too

personally havnt grown them so cant say whether they stop the munchies.. good luck in your search.. its a bit random with me whether i get munchies or not .. more to do with what i have / havent eaten that day !

@chillbert  thank chilbert!!  Yep  I agree with that statement.  Durban is a great 100% sativa so Ye I'm not surprised.  

Being a diabetic,  I have issues at evenings where I smoke a nice indica and then have to struggle to stay away from food.  I don't know if this is a direct correlation with indica strains or maybe  myrcene..... 

I doubt I will have the time , being 51 yrs of age, that I will ever learn how to breed a strain that is great for night time use and have appetite suppression.
