Has anyone ever grown an Auto strain called "bubblegum extra" before. ??

Been looking at it for my next fun run. Research says 40g per plant but on my seedbank site it says up to 500g M2 indoor and 40g outdoors. Sounds iffy to me.

Not grown this strain but 40g per plant sounds a bit low to me, especially with the weight you have been pulling out of your tent.

With 500g on the indoor, I would say typo...also never grown the strain but there is no way a 500g m2 outside would produce 40g inside IMO

not going to happen with an auto lol (indoors)

Really thinking about doing this for my next grow, I have a 60ltr bucket and a veg room setup, would take a lot of effect but I really think I could pull this off, (not going to be easy but it would be one hell of a grow diary)

@jacks_farm I've found that stressing some types of autos affects the yeild a fair bit. The northern lights auto did well with topping bit the auto big devil xl did terribly with last and topping. I just like to grow mostly el natural and let the plant do her thing. Especially with autos.

@yoda

some plants react better to stress than others but topping a plant and a little lst should never kill or badly damage a plant.

auto's maybe different, I don't know.

but photo plants should alway recover in a short time.

Trying think back when I first started

If you have a small plant in large pot, top it and really soak the root mass ( with a good amount of nutes), this can badly effect the plant.

There must be some improvements you can make to get better results when topping your plants.

@jacks_farm I have also heard that it is better to not Handle auto sprouts/seedling too much. ie: when transplanting and tipping the seedling upside down to exchange small pot to larger. It's best to plant once in a large pot. I believe autos have come along way but I still like to keep stress to a minimum. In saying that, next grow im going to do two scrogs in the 1.2m tents for the first time so it will be interesting.

@yoda everyone grows differently but I have to jump in on this. Every plant I grow gets topped a minimum of twice, most three times, and this most definitely includes autos. This usually gives me lots of nice tight mains that trim easily and low large after the lollipop. Only once on my very first auto run did one plant react badly because I was not fast enough on that particular plant. Speed is my secret sauce for working with autos, you have to be completely finished by 25 days so sometimes I top these with tweezers but it works. I also always transplant my autos from solo cups to 3 gallon pots but I do skip the intermediate 1 gallon pots that the photos get stepped through. My auto yields are very good with the runt in the last batch giving 115 grams and the biggest going 193 grams. With all this said, there is a learning curve to all this. Always grow the way you feel most comfortable with the process but there are ways to work with autos to get massive photo size yields from them without stunting the growth.
