@monkeydo looking forward to it buddy
Give a stoner some bud he will smoke for a day, but show a stoner how to grow and he will smoke forever. 🤣💚
@mrpots420 a 2000 is probably adequate, but the 4000 will crush it.
Sweeet ill be odering them friday cant wait to start. Itll be my first ever grow. Ill keep you guys updated. im expecting to make plenty of mistakes n to learn loads but the heck with it ! we all need to start somewhere right ?
Never spoken to you ned but incredible yeild, if i get any where close to 1.5grams per watt id be so happy well done brother 😁
Took me about a thousand crops to get there LOL. Seriously, these new LED’s are the best thing to happen to growers since indoor growing. No heat, 25% of the power draw, highest PAR, no bulb changes, optimum spectrum.
Last piece of advice for big yield.....pot plants pack on the weight exponentially at the end of the budding cycle. I typically wait longer than most folks to harvest until the buds are completely swollen and all the glands are swelled.
@ned thankypu ned i will keep that in mind before my harvest amd i havent used led yet im waiting for my mars hydro ts1000 to arrive but they seem to have delayed me for another 5 days from original delivery date

EDIT. EDIT. MISCALCULATION ALERT
Well I did my calculations thinking this SF2000 draws 250 watts. I just realized it only draws 200 watts.
So it’s actually an earth shattering 2.2 gpw!!!!
I actually do not recall ever seeing anyone I know hit this and know the environment was controlled, and that the yield wasn’t weighed till manicured and bone dry. I am a skeptic no longer.
Epic mate!! What a yield, well done man, numbers to be proud of

Additional observations. Couple things I noticed comparing this light to a Mars style SP Lamp. Mine is an SP 150 I use for vegging. The Mars lights have a very narrow sweet spot. I guess because of the design and shape of the fixture. However I noticed a 30% decrease in light moving out only 3 inches from center. So that gives you what seems to be a 6 inch sweet spot. Not sure how I feel about that. Also, the Mars seems to lack red spectrum compared to the SF.
Last week I received my SF2000 light and just noticed the billing info. The light was sold by:
Mars Trading Rcc, Inc
Now I’m wondering if Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer are linked. This isn’t going to change anyone’s mind about either brand but was interesting to me. So far both the Mars Hydro and Spider Farmer lights work very well.

My TS1000 refers to Mars Hydro - Manufacture Shenzen.
At least all QBs work with the same chip LM301B.
Plants are like children - always surprising you.
I think mine was shipped via a Canadian shipment. The lights are very different in build and spectrum. The Spider Farmer uses LM301B chips and Mars used unbranded SMD chips. I think there was some mention of epistar on some review I saw. The majority of reviews said both are very good lights. From what I can see so far I’d agree. Gonna do some par tests soon. Curious what Ned mentioned about the sweet spot.

Hello Percys! Saw this thread on the spider farmer lights, had to chime in. I have been running 2 SF4000 lights, quite impressed. I don’t have years of experience to compare, but they seem to be super. Very happy with them, quality product, but always leery about advertised spectrum. I recently purchased a Pulse Pro grow monitor, and this unit is pretty cool. Monitors everything, you can set parameters, notifications on your phone if you want. It also has a light meter built in, which gives you your exact spectrum. Has been very helpful with keeping good VPD, even tells you what to do to keep it in the sweet spot. Anyways, not to go on and on about it, check it out online. Back to my point of this post, the pics show the SF4000 spectrum and looks pretty juicy to me. Graph pic shows what it is monitoring.
I have no affiliation with either product, just happy to be learning and growing better weed.

Replying to my own post haha. That reading is 12” below the light, center.
