How long shall i wait

How bout a pic there @shirley-boi. Not a mind reader mister. lol You should be able to remove the large fan leaves on the lower nodes below the topping point. That will let those branches grow out. You can top those branches if you want to. It all depends on how long you want to stay in Veg. But you send in a pic, I want to see what you call "Untidy"!! mister.  🤣

Damn, don’t be so down on yourself mate. We don’t mind questions. How else does one learn new things.

As Woodi mentioned, pics always help us help you better. Defoliation is down to your grow style. I like to leave as much as possible early on and do the majority of defol after the stretch. The leaves cost the plant lots of resources to make and in turn help the plant make more leaves and buds. My line of thought is you lose both the energy cost the plant paid to make the leaf plus any further energy the leaf might make in the future.

@monkeydo i was thinking that actually. The leaves r good for the plant so wont be taking much off them 

@shirley-boi They all look healthy.  I don't see a reason to remove fan leaves yet.

Hey there @Shirely-boi. Well those babies look good man. Some times the leaves can look really big but give it a little time and she'll grow into them. So you have more than one plant, right?  So if you wanted to you could prune/trim one of them to see how it works for you and leave the other. Just a thought. Glad you sent in the pics, they look good. Nice work man. 👍   That is in no way "untidy" lol
