I see you guys haven't yet joined the ball vape revolution😁
Injector style ball vapes or heavy hitters came from the diy vape forums a couple of years ago and they're game changers. Now there's several choices to buy such as the my favorite the qaroma it has an all quartz glass and rubies air path. It uses x200 3mm rubies as a thermal battery to heat up the air as you draw through a bong and gives the most flavourful and is harder hitting than anything that came before such as the volcano. The qaroma is more like hitting a dab but its with flower. There's also a ceramic version (ceroma) and titanium version (taroma) which is so heavy hitting its comparable to smoking but tastes so much better.
Theres other options such as the flowerpot b2 which is the most expensive or the old head freight train which is about the same as the taroma. These are both titanium and along with the taroma, these are the heaviest hitting vapes on the market. I really can't express this enough guys and gals.
There's other all glass path versions that are cheaper than the qaroma which costs £360. Such as a butane powered elev8r I'd highly recommend this if your unsure and want to try one of these as it only costs £55 + a bong and plumbers torch. This version doesn't have rubies nor any temp control but its still incredible (my favorite butane powered vape). Or there's the pid and coil version of the elev8r. It works with or without rubies and is incredible and cheap for about £120 without rubies. With rubies it works much better however its extremely dangerous. The rubies are held just by a screen and if they get loose its a nightmare of red hot balls melting into you or the carpet. Or there's an open source diy project called the pinky. Its just a tig welder nosel with a coil around it filled with rubies. Its also dangerous but probably less dangerous than the elev8r with rubies and costs less than £100.
Correction's : the freight train is roughly equivalent to the taroma and the taroma xl is roughly equivalent to the flowerpot b2 which costs double but its the xl and b2 that are the heaviest hitting vapes on the market
See my June 19th mini review of the flowerpot. These style of vapes are hard hitting mofos, blows the volcano out of the water IMHO.
Since the youtube video was age restricted click on the words “watch in youtube” or it wont play.

Aside from being expensive, the FP B2 is a solid design. There is a screw on cap to secure the balls. Safer than an open top or Jerry rigged press in screen.
On the FlowerPot manufacturers website— If a guy wanted something similar to the FP, you can piece it together to save a little $$££€€. If you’re looking at the B2 and don’t do dabs omit the dab dish. You can also buy a glass bowl from DHgate for about $20 (that’ll save about $40-$50 by omitting the flowerpot bowl and stem). If anyone is entertaining a glass bowl to use with the B2 head, reach out and I’ll measure the OD of the glass bowl I have (however, I use the Ti bowls). The B2 goes around the OD of the bowl, where as the injector style coil vapes go in the ID.
If you’re a dabber and already have a 20mm coil & PID, you already have the expensive shit (the B2 head that holds the balls threads around the coil)!

@sevans1965 yea man that's a very good point. Its much safer to buy just the bits you need and assemble them than it is to make something like the pinky. The flowerpot range is awesome. I can just buy the titanium housing and use the coil and balls I already have. Same with the taroma I can buy only the bits I need.
In the UK there's theres cheaper versions such as taroma lite and the injector diffuser for about £50-60
@notbot nice info on the “Roma” line of vape kit. I’d never ran across it until you mentioned it. It certainly brings this method of consumption into a more reasonable price point. The all glass option is nice.
Thanks for sharing the information, I’m sure a lot of folks here welcome the info. Especially those trying to figure out what they may or may not want.

@sevans1965 happy to help. There's not enough people out there that actually know about this type of vape and I think people who go to the effort of growing their own are exactly the type of people that will really enjoy a these vapes.
Yea I like the roma aroma range I'm not sure what they call it lol. The prices are reasonable but its the choices of different materials that I like the most. Eventually I'll have the ceramic and titanium versions as well because they are completely different beasts. The qaroma I can't describe very well the intensity of the flavour it produces and it hits hard throughout the range of temps but also unlocks flavours you had know idea were there. Usually with a vape I find a temp I like and pretty much stick to it but not with the qaroma. The taroma told tastes great but not as good as qaroma, but hits much harder. It just has more power. The ceroma is kind of inbetween
@notbot from looking on their website my interpretation is the first two letters references the material QA=quartz, CE=Ceramic, etc.
I know in the ball vapes, quartz balls will create a hotter hit verses ruby (assuming same coil temp). So obviously related to the materials thermal conductivity and Specific Heat Capacity. Some folks notice a taste difference also. I use Ti bowls (cuz I can’t break them, LOL), but I did compare the Ti bowl with Ti screen and glass bowl with no screen and I couldn't taste the difference, hence using the bullet proof option
