Great thread.
I was wanting to get myself a dry herb vaporizer not that long ago. It had to be under £50
It was either between the
Black mamba
Magic flight box
Or the herbstick* in which I went for. It's convection heating with a 2200mhA lithium ion battery. has 6 different temperature settings ranging from 180 - 220. It holds. 0.4 grams of dry herb or kief And it's a beast of a vape for the money. Also has a pure aluminium build and gives you approx 2 hours of vape time.
I had a friend who owned a firefly 2 which costs 5 times the amount of the herbstick and he was blown away with how it performed.. Imo its the best vape for your money.

Hi guys, another great thread monkey😉 i had to look out the box for the one I have been using for over a year now😁 typical stoner lol. The vape I use is for flower only, it’s a black mamba and was cheap, 50 euros I think and does the job, but if u are wanting a big cloud of smoke from it, this is not the vape to buy, but the fucker will definitely get u high. We are absolutely spoiled today with all the company’s churning out all these electronic devices, with led lights, oven temperatures, fast charges. When I first started smoking when I was 15 we used a plastic bottle😂 and water, and can remember it used to make your eyes water lol. Happy days 💨💨💨
@phil some vaporizers come with a 'concentrates' adapter which allows for shatter, rosin, kief etc to be vaped up nicely

Hello guys. I never tried a vaporizer and want to start vaping.
As you guys mentioned some vape pens I'm undecided between Black Mamba, Herbstick, Boundless CFC 2.0 and XMAS Starry 3.0.
Which one do you guys think that I should go for?
If you do, do it well.
I have tried it man and there is nothing like a good hit of a spliff..... see if you can try one before you buy something too expensive
@bs_monteiro definitely the CFC 2.0 I tested it over a weekend and it was really great for the low price you pay!

@cloudy_kitchen thank you mate.
If you do, do it well.
I've owned a Pax portable vape for a little over 3 years (I think its version 2) , and I have to say its a true champ. It's small fits in your pocket, has 3 diff heat settings and hits like a champ. it's smart also , shake it and it will tell you the battery charge level , set it down for a minute , and it will slowly lower the temp so its not burning up your weed, leave it sit there long enough and it shuts itself off. The Pax has an amazing warranty ,10 years and they honor it no questions asked. As I know from personal experience, I had to send my unit to British Columbia to get fixed and they just sent me a brand new unit with a full warranty.I just wish it came with a car charger as my unit isn't doesn't have a USB port to charge it. The battery life is actually really good for such a small unit. The downside is its not cheap. I highly recommend trying a couple diff units out before you buy one.

My new Dry Herb Vape-
As I continue down my Vape journey, I recently added the last piece- a dedicated at home sesh rig.
First off, I am no way affiliated with any of these companies, just sharing my own opinions and experiences for my fellow members benefit—
Last year I started dry herb vaping, I spent (wasted) money on some not so great devices and have ended up with these 3 that suit a need or situation. Dynavap and Crafty+ both great devices and certainly have their place. No regrets on these two purchases.
The Crafty has its limitations around the house, so I wanted a home rig, this was my criteria-
- Primary use- dry herb.
- Plug in power source, no battery level to mind or charge, faster recovery time.
- Overall build quality.
- As few fragile components as possible.
- As few proprietary components as possible.
- Cost (cost for quality and function)
And now to introduce the new member of the family- the “B2 FlowerPot” from Cannabis Hardware.
The bowl hardware from Cannabis Hardware is Titanium and machined in the US. Their hardware appears to be compatible with any 20mm enail coil, so if something breaks or malfunctions, there are multiple sources for replacement parts (PID controller, coil, Glass,). The slider bowl for your herb can be a 22mm glass bowl, available from various online retailers, so if you prefer a non Ti bowl you have options.
From a failure mode standpoint, there are no fragile ceramic plates or coil wires. The PID controller strikes me as the most likely component to fail, followed by the coil wire (speculation on my part).
The B2 was advertised having the dab dish on top of the heating unit. Can be used with herb or dabs, or both together (double decker). Even though I don’t plan on doing dabs often (mainly due to availability), the B2 was said to be easier to use with dry herb, as far as finding your sweet spot. My setup came with a silicon carbide dab dish, but other materials are available for the dab connoisseur.
Filling the B2 head with ruby balls improves the efficiency of heating the incoming air and diffuses the air flow for a even vape (the bowl requires minimal stirring for fuller bowls).
Bowl size- whether your seshing or micro dosing, you can fill the bowl as full as you want, as long as the screen is covered. The Pax loading scoop seen in the photo is enough to cover the screen (and is approx. 1/2 of a Mighty/Crafty capsule).
With the PID controller you have almost infinite temp control. Very tasty hits. It hits hard the way I like it, but tame for the Mrs. Pretty easy to get the hang of.
Only disadvantage right now- Price !! But I don’t regret my purchase.
Cheers:
As a side note, Cannabis Hardware website has all the parts for the bowl and heater coil assembly, so you can buy a complete kit, or piece your own together!
