I’ve never grown photoperiods before but started some seedlings.

Had them on 24hrs with the light at 25% intensity.

Recently switched it to 18 on/6 off, my timer failed at the last lights off so lights have been off for about 30hrs or so.

Will this have an impact on the seedlings?

Light is now switched back to normal on a new timer, thanks everyone.

@greentomato Count yourself lucky mate...last cheap timer I saw fail melted and set fire to the house it was in...

Get a decent quality timer and resume knowing you are able to 😉

@greentomato if these weren’t sexually mature plants they won’t be affected at all. If it did start triggering flower they will revert to Veg by themselves if you stay at 18/6. No worries brother, you are good

@zn

this is something I think about probably more than I should! Lucky for me it was less if an electrical fault and just a mechanical one.

@monkeydo I should probably read up on photoperiods And learn how they grow as I’m now seeing this is a real basic question.
