Hi all.
Just wanted to give an update on my plants.
Just going to feed them soon but took a few pics first.
First plant:
Bottom of the plant has a couple of yellowing leaves but generally looks healthy.
Second plant:
A few leaves at the bottom are turning yellow but again to my eye it looks ok.
Third plant:
The last plant is the one that has the most damage. The last picture shows part of the leave has turned brown and has went crisp.
I've left all the yellowing leaves on though. Checked to see if they need watering but they are ok just now so will water them later.
Am I wrong to be quite calm about them or have I nothing to worry about?
I know there is damage but it's all from bottom, no plant bugs or soil contamination affecting their growth.
Due to flip tomorrow so needs to be peak condition.
The leaves at the bottom look like theyre in the shade, in which case they will yellow/brown off as photosyntesis is not happening due to lack of light...chlorophyl will not be produced and the plants will consume the remaining...dont worry, its ok
Top leaves are where the new growth is happening and they look fine
Yeah man I spotted it this morning but wasnt too worried about it.
The rest of the plant looks fine and I've noticed some growth so the transplant has been a success so think I'll flip tomorrow.
Thanks mate
Hi all. Me again lol.
Ik just wondering if anyone has any tips for flipping to flower?
I'm due to flip tomorrow but want them as peak as I can beforehand.
I've got some yellowing leaves like i said earlier. Am I better taking them off before I flip or does it not really matter?
What's everyone's thoughts on nutrients at this time too? Straight into using Bloom or keep using grow until the buds form? I've got Topmax too which I'm gonna use at the same time but not wanting to overkill them?
Due to start its 12 12 tomorrow at 7PM London time so can prep it tomorrow.
Am I better taking them off before I flip or does it not really matter?
I'd follow Monkey's advide: leave them be. If your ladies can't find any sort of nutrients in the substrate, they will "cannibalize" the oldest/lowest leaves. So if you take them, they will "cannibalize" green healthier ones, which might be useful still (phtosynthetically... oi that's a fancy word). And also you can use them as an indicator if your soil has enough nutrients or not as well 😉
What's everyone's thoughts on nutrients at this time too?
I use BioBizz products too. I start with BioBloom in the last stages of veg, but only at 1/4 the recommended dosis. TopMax I'd start with 1ml/L until the later stages in flower. And don't stop with BioGrow, since they'll stretch a couple of weeks into flowering, so they'll still need a fair ammount of nitrogen. How long, depends on the cultivar of course... What were you growing again? (stoner moment) XD

Thanks mate I'll just leave them be
Tbh I'm not sure what strain it is I kinda did a pot luck and picked a bag from a bag lol. Either blue cheese, black sugar or white widow.
Yeah I was gonna keep using the grow as well as the bloom at the same time. I've done the flowering stage before but my mate was much more experienced and just kinda took over so I never really did much lol.
Determined to get it right myself this time.
I'm using 0.5ml of biobizz grow and 0.5ml calmag just now. I'm just gonna keep using that schedule but include 1/4 bloom nutes too.
Will see how we go next couple days.
@new-at-this keep your eye on CalMag, I am on 0,3ml/L now. You can always put more, but its much more difficult to near impossible to remove too much nutrients from soil
