Welcome to our Vegetation section. Here you will find guides on the vegetative stage of a cannabis plants life cycle.

During the Vegetative stage of a cannabis plants life cycle, you can apply some advanced growing techniques that will increase the final yield of your grow.

Vegetation:

This is when a cannabis plant grow stems, branches, and leaves.

Indoors, the plant is kept under 18 hours of light, and 6 hours of darkness per day ( 18/6)*

Light cycles whilst “Vegging” can vary from 18/6, *but some growers will “veg” under 24 hours of light with no dark period. Others may like to grow under 20 hours of light, and 4 hours darkness.

These guides will help you get the most out of your plants during the vegetative stage of your cannabis grow.

Vegetation

Vegetation is when a cannabis plant grows stems, branches, and leaves, but no buds or flowers. Usually, during vegetation, a cannabis plant will be topped and trained, before being "flipped" to flower. With good training, and growing techniques during vegetation, you can increase the final yield of your grow massively. Learn how to get the best out of your cannabis plant in veg, in this section of the forum.
