In this guide, we are going to take you step by step through everything you need to do to create an account on our forum. It is very easy to do, and it will only take a couple of minutes to complete the process. Once you have created an account, you will be able to post threads and get involved with the cannabis community here at Percy’s Grow Room. No matter what level of grow skill you’re at, whether you’re a complete newcomer or a grower with decades of experience, everyone is welcome at Percy’s.

Step One: Click the “Create an Account” Button
To create an account, first, you need to head over to the registration form. To make this guide easy, I have provided a button below. Simply click this button, and a new window will open up showing the registration form. You will then be able to read through this guide and fill out the form at the same time.
Step 2, Fill out the Registration Form
The registration form will look something like this. It has a box for you to choose a username and a box for you to enter your email address. Then, you will also see there is a Google captcha box. Along with those, you will also see three boxes you have to tick to complete the form. But we will cover that when we get to it. Let’s cover the username box first.
Pick a Username
You can pretty much choose any username you want, but we do have some conditions. First off, you have to consider that this is the name other members will know you by, so it must be easy to read and use. We prefer to see usernames between 3 and 15 characters. Be creative with it!
Just to add, we do not allow usernames of companies or brands on the forum. We also do not allow email addresses or websites as usernames. Any account with email addresses, brands, or websites as their usernames will be deleted, unless they are a sponsor of the site.
Fill in Your Email Address
This will be kept private and never shown on the forum to other members. Only admins will be able to see your email address. It is always kept private! We need your email address to send you a password reset link to complete your account. But not only that, we will send notifications to your email address when members reply to your posts or send you a private message. You will also receive emails when new posts are added to any subforums you subscribe to.
Because of this, we highly recommend you use an email address you use often. But if you need to, feel free to set up a new email account just for notifications and forum activity. Whatever works best for you.
The ReCAPTCHA Form
Spammers and bots are everywhere, and they love creating fake accounts to spam forums and other sites. To prevent this from happening on our forum, we have this ReCAPTCHA form. You will see that Percys is spam-free, and it is very rare for members to see spam on our forum. We like to keep the place clean, and this ReCAPTCHA helps us do that. So check the box and complete the ReCAPTCHA puzzle. You will only have to do it once.
Next, you will have to agree to our forum rules. Again, you can read these easily by clicking on the words “forum rules.” It would be a good idea to read these as well. It explains what we expect of members, and how we expect members to treat each other. The rules will also explain what is a bannable offense, and what is a warning. So please read through and be sure you know what to do, and what not to do. We hate banning people, so please make sure you’re aware of the rules.
Then Click Register!
Step 3, Check Your Email for Confirmation Email
Next, you need to go to your email inbox. What this looks like will differ depending on what email service you use. It doesn’t take long to arrive. So if you do not see you confirmation email within a couple of minutes, check your junk/spam/promotions inboxes. You will find it somewhere in there, and when you do, it should look something like this:
You will see in the email a blue link. This link will direct you to a password reset form. Click it and the password reset forum will open up in a new window. All you have to do now, is choose a password!
Step 4, Choosing a New Password
When the password reset box opens it will looks something like this:
Choose a strong password here! You want to make sure your account is secure. We highly recommend using a random password generator to create a strong password. Enter the password in the top box and repeat it in the bottom box. If the passwords do not match, it will prompt you to enter them again. Once you’re satisfied with your password, and you’re ready to create your account, click the “Reset Password” button. When you’ve completed this step, you’re done! Congratulations, you’ve created an account and can now post and participate in the best cannabis growing forum on the internet!
